Skip down to the part when Jian's lawyer is reading the accuser's emails and texts. And how the "Poor Accuser" reacts.

Night after the "rape": "I want you to lick my ass."

What rape victim doesn't want her assailant to lick her anus less than 24 hours after the "rape".

The comments section is also comedy gold. Guardian, retrying the not guilty verdict in the newspaper for the hidden truth of Great Justice in the fight against the Patriarchy, of course.

"Hamstering", for those who don't know the term, refers here to female post-rationalization of sex, looking for ways to conclude that the act was not her choice in cases where it definitely was her choice.

Comes from the hamster wheel on which hamsters run, a metaphor for furious mental work.

As opposed to gerbiling?

Hamstering sounds more like "spinning one's wheels" or "running in place." That is, high action work accomplishing nothing. Wonder if there is a better term out there for post coital revisionism.

Gerbiling is something else entirely. Let's not go there.

We do need a better term for rationalization though.

Is self-lubrication admissable in a court as forensic proof she wanted that D?

Even in the article she seems bent on deceiving and views everything myopically. Did she seriously think in a court of law (as opposed to a Title IX Hearing) only her facts would matter? 'I don't remember' is the stereotypical testifier trying to weasel out of a lie. She expected the attorney of the party she accused to be on her side? She did have the Crown behind her. What a whacked out and kinky broad.

It was the email where I said: “You kicked my ass last night and that makes me want to fuck your brains out.”

I think any jury or judge would acquit after seeing that.

from the comments

"The amazing thing is that he managed to assault one of the women in a car he didn't own until several months later. This man is so evil he can actually manipulate time."

"The one where communication with another witness said "Let's take this prick down" didn't help too much either. Particularly when the witnesses had previously been told not to communicate with each other."

They should have to pay his for his court costs.

In her mind she was innocent, he was guilty of Raep. She completely forgot about all the Fuck Me texts she sent after the alleged incidents, along with the fact she kept not only fucking him, but setting up fuck dates.

In her own mind, it became raep long after --- This is hamstering.

"When I first went to the police, I had very little knowledge about how this would unfold. I just gave them my witness statement as evidence that something happened. I didn’t know it was going to trigger a criminal case."
Seriously?, Just thought you might mosey by the police station and make statement for no particular reason?
" didn’t know that Marie Henein was going to make me look like a fool. . . .What Henein did destroyed my testimony. Using what I said to Jian in emails and a letter that I don’t even remember sending, she argued that I tried to cover up the fact that I had a relationship with Jian after the assault and lied to the court in the process."
And never thought he might make a defense?
"All of the build-up, my 12 months of preparation, had come down to this: a letter I didn’t remember writing. . . . Because after everything I went through, Jian is free."
12 months of preparation? Nothing here to make anybody think vengeful bi$ch. Actually, it sounds like Jian Ghomeshi and Lucy DeCoutere were made for each other. It is better that way than for them to inflict their forms of mental illness on others.

"Everything Henein asked me came back to one big question: why did I keep in touch with Jian? The answer is that it was my way of processing what happened to me, of neutralizing a volatile situation he created. "

Even if you grant her that, what does it mean?
Women are children. They can't be held responsible for their own actions. Men need to care for women like they would for a child: i.e. do not listen what the child is saying but instead judge themselves the best interest of the child is.

How would men know what women want or need is a mystery. But obviously not based on what women are saying.

Women should also be able to drink and not be responsible for their resulting actions. It's the fault of men if they let them drink, and their resulting lack of inhibition is also to be blame on men.

In fact: it's all men fault, always.
And that's that.

Doesn't it pretty much describe the mainstream views on these matters up until, say, late 50s? If one's wife were to get drunk and disorderly in public the husband would be the one to blame. Kinda makes sense....

Feminism holds that women are equal to or better then men in all ways; but, when they do something stupid or wrong, they have no agency.
