I never knew any liberals that were fans of socialism in Cuba or Venezuela, as for greece, I don't think people were even aware that it was so much more socialist than say France or the U.K.

Still I get it. Almost funny.

I didn't say they didn't exist. It's just that among ordinary liberals, that believe in things like science, preserving our environment, fact based news, and in improving our economy for the middle and working class, and the ways in which this can best be accomplished., che Guevara is not particularly relevant.

I somewhat agree with you here, however for me the problem is that people can walk around glorifying a leftist/marxist mass murderer without consequences while the thought police will try to silence anyone who does so on the other side. To me this asymmetry is the main issue these days that people on the left and the right need to agree on abolishing before we can move forward with political discussions and accepting each other. It doesn't seem like a difficult concept to grasp but for some reason it is. These days it's a high security media sensation and an extremely rare moment when people of totally opposing views come together and do some political sparring, and that is the real issue. We need to remember Voltaire and bring back and protect full free speech.

thanks for the translation. That was hilarious, and very true.
