Can’t have these pesky facts getting in the way of the leftist narrative.

Funny that during a 6 year trend under Obama, right wing dim bulbs never wanted to credit Obama, then when it continues for 1.5 years, they assume liberals can't handle Trump's incredible success.

Wtf are you talking about man ?

Absolutely wrong and completely dishonest.

Just fyi-to paint the real picture (the above is the dishonest chart--it's clearly been cropped to deceive):

First its employment then manufacturing employment? Which is it? A chart with no scale? Manufacturing jobs added more in 2011 (206,000) and 2014 (209,000) than in 2017 (193,000(. Where is the chart of those years. Very conveniently absent. What a joke.

Pay no attention to your fatter paychecks, your tax breaks, or the booming economy. Trump is President and that means things are terrible!

Only in the following ways:

1) Perception by the rest of the world.

2) Risk of some world destabilizing event caused by his character, EQ, and personality.

3) Risk of a repeat of the economic aftermath of Hoover's presidency

Things are actually relatively good in spite of Trump. But even you know that Trump is bound and determined to fuck things up. It's just what he does.

I love the comparison between the inevitable bounceback from the worst recession since the 1930s, with an actual boom inaugurated by tax cuts and business confidence that is hitting new highs and setting employment records. Obama's recovery was stupendously weak for the working classes, also.

2011 was bouncing off the bottom and QE2, whereas 2014 was QE3. Trumps increase came off Obama's high water mark AND was in the face of rising rates.

So far we've seen the opposite. Huge gains against Isis and Korean peace talks. Compare that to the multiple new wars and a decimated Libya. Which results would you rather have?

This proves how biased your CNN spoon fed perspective is.
12   MisdemeanorRebel   2018 Jun 3, 8:10pm

The Media is trying to feed the Resistance the narrative that Korean talks are a bad thing --- and will probably fail anyway.

Never let the MSM gaslight you with their defense of failed post Cold War neoliberalism. Ending a 70 year war would be a massive success.

I don't watch CNN. But Brietbart and Fox haven't kept me from knowing facts about Trump that came out in the campaign. As well as everything he says and does as President. All you have to do is pay attention. This is your messiah.

Don't get me wrong, the apprentice was probably a great show, although I never saw it. And I think his gold plated living room walls (which he has in his New York apt) must be really impressive. But I think his tweets and his behavior speak for themselves. And I think that if you admire Trump, that speaks for itself too.

It's many things. Consumer confidence as well.

The CFI was totally manipulated since 2007. Unless that index is based on Smart Phone sales and Chipotle orders.

Not really. Confidence started up after a momentary pause in early 2016, well before the election of Trump. The slope of the increase has flattened out since Trump actually took office.

Taking nearly a decade to recover consumer confidence: Massive Obama success
Dramatic growth of consumer confidence in just a few quarters: Not Trump.

I remember in 2012 when Obama was campaigning for his second terms on the "Everything still kinda sucks but it's Bush's fault."
