Ironically, a lot of those high-paying jobs are working with the Internet, which itself was supposed to make it irrelevant where you live. Just the opposite happened. If you want one of those jobs, it matters more than ever that you live in one of the few tech centers.

Builders will build the most profitable homes first. When they are restricted to build only a few homes, the lower priced and lower profit homes never get built. It's that simple.
