Democrats admit they are losing bigly, now they admit they would rather the country burn

By Goran_K following x   2018 Jun 9, 7:52am 2,141 views   77 comments   watch   sfw   quote     share

Basically the Democrats have admitted that they know the economy is roaring and the country is running like a well oiled V8 engine, so instead of saying “hey let’s drop the Trump Derangement and jump on board to help the country”, they’re now hoping for millions to lose their jobs, homes, and well being instead.

This is why the Democrats have lost so bigly between 2010 and now. They are a party of liberal coastal elites who don’t understand anyone outside of Hollywood or Manhattan. They don’t give a fuck about the working class.

Bill Maher is a shit bag but him and Hillary Clinton are the best gifts in terms of gettting Democrats out of office.

We're talking about one quote from one entertainer right ?

It's interesting that nobody ever takes one quote from say Sean Hannirty or Alex Jones and genralizes what it implies on to all republitards. I mean I do assume republicans are often gullible, and in some cases stupid, but I don't automatically assume they think what Sean Hannity thinks, before he even tells them it's what they should think. Although I guess I am guilty making fun of republicanss for liking those idiots.

Whereas, the leaders of the GOP were very upfront about wanting to prevent Obama's being successful, which obviously meant not allowing good legislation to occur under his leadership. This wasn't one comedian/entertainer. It was the public position of republicans in federal govt, who might have gotten behind the President for the good of the country, but no.

That would have meant a democrat leader being successful, and we can't have that.

They don't care because to them such people only exist when it is CONVENIENT for liberals to think of item (like when they proclaim policies that would 'benefit' said people they don't even know).

I think someone needs to go back to school. Repealing restrictions and regulations by the thousand is the exact opposite of authoritarianism. Obama with his endless list of imposed restrictions on everything from the economy to who could use which bathroom was the authoritarian President!

Not really. The hallmark of an authoritarian rule is asking for blind allegiance. Punishing any dissention.

But even in your stupid bathroom example--YOU were trying to tell people which bathroom to use. Conservatives are always the authoritarian ones. On just about every issue.

(btw--pretty sure the quoted post is against the rules)

You know the Trumpublicans are losing it when they’re denying that he is Supreme Authoritarian, and start going wackado pretending someone else is more Authoritarian.

It reminds me of when Trumpublicans don’t want to own the Republicans so they say some nonsense like “but me a Libertarian! Me no Republican!” Lol

Why are these people so ashamed of who they are? Own it, for Christ sakes

From https://www.psychologistworld.com/influence-personality/authoritarian-personality

Blind allegiance to conventional beliefs about right and wrong
Respect for submission to acknowledged authority
Belief in aggression toward those who do not subscribe to conventional thinking, or who are different
A negative view of people in general - i.e. the belief that people would all lie, cheat or steal if given the opportunity
A need for strong leadership which displays uncompromising power
A belief in simple answers and polemics - i.e. The media controls us all or The source of all our problems is the loss of morals these days.
Resistance to creative, dangerous ideas. A black and white worldview.
A tendency to project one's own feelings of inadequacy, rage and fear onto a scapegoated group
A preoccupation with violence and sex

From Trump's well known requirement of anyone who works for him to vow blind allegiance to him, to his relentless attacks on the media, to his black and white thinking, etc. etc., he is clearly an authoritarian personality. This was well known early in the primary campaign:
