Calling it Now: Best-President-to-Date

It has truly been an unexpected surprise to watch the Trump admin perform thus far. In totality, I am fairly confident to call it now: we are witnessing a very rare event of effective and beneficial leadership, one that we may not witness again in our lifetime. That is all I wanted to post. Good luck to each of you in making the best of these good times.

I get up every day, jazzed that we have a President willing to stand up to one-sided unfree trade. The thing with immigration and foreign policy is a delightful extra.

I look over and see a Party that wants multinationals to have unlimited ability to outsource and insource, then import tariff-free into the USA, that wants Border Enforcement eliminated, and all Guns Banned and I say, how could more than 15% of the population vote for such extremist policies?

Open border protests in all major cities. Couldn't ask for better advertisement for repiblicans-vote for us or batshit crazy will take over.

Protesting is a problem now ?

Nope, I am actually encouraging the batshit crazy open borders brigade to protest. The more crazy hangs out in the open, the more sane people run to the republicans.

You would have to be a first rate Moron driven by fear and hate of Trump to deny that.

I have no problem with Democrats protesting for open borders and transgender rights and free shit at taxpayer expense! It firmly delineates their position for voters, and best of all, the idiotic MSM covers it nonstop! It’s contradictory advertisement for the Democrats!

Let me give a recent example of this.
Gavin Newsome did something clever in the recent primary election. He spent millions running nonstop ads which warned about one of his opponents, a little known businessman originally from Illinois, John Cox. The ads claimed that Cox was pro gun and pro business and pro immigration enforcement as well as being anti-sanctuary state. Then the ads contrasted with Newsome’s position of being the opposite of that. As a Republican voter, those ads were designed to give me a favorable view of Cox, while giving a favorable view of Newsome to any Leftist voters out there. But that was AS INTENDED! Newsome wanted GOP support to coalesce behind a candidate who would displace the other Democrat front runner, who would stand an excellent chance of beating him if GOP voters were forced to choose between two Democrats. So he needed to run against a Republican to have his best chance. Thus, he designed his ads to promote his favored opponent to his base even as he promoted himself to his own base.

This protest action by Democrats is working against them, coalescing horrified patriots behind the GOP. Even people with hesitation about current Republican policies would rather see law and order continue than have our civilization devolve into a communistic Hell.

So keep it up, Lefties! You’re shooting yourselves in the fucking face and we can’t get enough of it!

Why do people post opinions that can be destroyed?
Trump is a 5 time draft dodging,liar!
7 million will pay more taxes under Trump's tax break.
Everyone will pay more for products because of Trump Tax (tariffs).

Maybe someone should get the opinion of these people.

Sometimes hard lessons have to be learned twice. 2007 is still fresh in my memory, as is most all of recent history that got us here today. When this whole shit show implodes like the last time, I think others will remember that which we’ve already learned, yet strangely some of us have forgotten. Good luck to all

Is this like Logan's "Place your bets now on the 2016 recession thread" ?

Remember how that turned out for everyone that placed their bets, opened their mouths and called their shots.

It seems Logan had the last laugh and anyone paying attention would have known better not to open their mouth or call something that wasn't going to happen...but no.....................

100% agree. I'm impressed with Trump's resilience through all of the hating by the Left (and some of the Right). It takes balls to keep your promises and ignore all the haters for the sake of saving this country. MAGA

I admit I was pretty worried when The Donald won the election, but so far he has done much good and I wish him well.

Unlike conventional presidents who shallowly take polls and shift with the wind on every issue, he seems well motivated by the contempt the Ivy League/NPR/NYTimes crowd has for him. He wants to demonstrate that they are wrong, and that is working out nicely for the country.

Gee, you really think he's better than the America hating, hysterical, free shit suicide pilots and corrupt, psychopath royalists of the left?

I personally think he's worse then HITLER, when he isn't being worse than SATAN!

You realize that the youth of today are going to equate Hitler with an orange guy who just wants to make America great again. Due to the constant comparison, Hitler’s reputation may move from the 20th Century SATAN to just the Diet Coke of evil. Just one calorie. Not evil enough!

Yeah, the young history dunces are going to think that Hitler was a bloviating, Benny Hill talk show host with a pompadour and girls in sequined bikinis, and that Satan wears yoga pants.

Extra points if you traveled five states to find a liberal baker refusing to make it!

The usual politicians did all the usual things that never worked:
Kick the problem cans down the street
Talk diplomatically
Tolerate terrorism
Try not to offend anyone
Give nice speeches
-------
This businessman knows how to get things done. Kicks butt. Solves problems. And delivers.
I hope the era of the the same ole politicians is over. I think it is over.

Exterminated half the jewish population on the planet using ovens tends to be an extremely compelling argument.

Even if they are ignorant, that one sentence tends to make immediate headway.

I don't consider myself "FOR" Russia but on that same note, I have no desire to see it crash and burn. I believe several countries can co-exist and even do business to mutual advantage. I'm always amazed by the mindset of people who get their info from 20 second soundbites who believe the solution to all disagreements is "just nuke them".

LGBT is flavor of the month and Trump is the most effeminate guy ever to be PRECEDENT! so he picks up some of that vibe.
