Yea sure, defend yourself against the government. Want to take videos of you are standing out there with your gun when the army comes rolling in? Have your family post them hear posthumously.

You think guerilla warfare involves standing in the open with your gun at the hip?

Every home, every window has to be covered by M134 and a million rounds of belt-fed FREEDOM!

Love to shred this on the Marshall - this could be your hymn.

Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast!

1776. No way an armed populous could take on the British Army with all their men and cannon, and hold out long enough for the French to come in. All the unarmed Venezuelans could do is stand and die.

I don't think Bob understands:

1.) Exactly how many military veterans there are.
2.) The US military would very likely experience desertion and parts refusing to fire on other Americans.

Frankly, its a scenario that won't happen anyway. We saw what bitchboy Obama did when federal agencies were opposed by armed citizenry. The reason the left fears conflict is because they are the ones that will be the targets.

There are approximately 1 million military and 1 million law enforcement officers in the country. There are 100 million gun owners.

There were 37 million hunting licenses issued last year.

Sure, sounds like a even fight, and that's if EVERY one of the military and law enforcement decide to fire on the American public.

How many of them do you think will actually do that, when it comes down to brass tacks?

Security forces don’t roll in against armed citizens. Because 4th of July happens

That's an answer?

Go research the Chris Dorner manhunt in CA to see how ONE guy tied up the police almost statewide:

...."After the first killings, Dorner's threats in his manifesto, caused law enforcement to mount a widespread manhunt that spread from California to Nevada and Mexico.[42][43] Protection details were set up for over 40 potential targets of Dorner, and thousands of police were assigned to patrol Southern California's highways. The LAPD also took patrol officers off of motorcycles for their protection.[24]"

The police response and manhunt for Dorner became a two-week national event that involved thousands of officers across Southern California
.

Now multiply that by a few hundred thousand shooters, tell us what the result would be.

Yes, the Bundy Ranch incident showed how an entire team of heavily armed Federal agents basically tucked tailed, and ran home.

Another conflict where an overwhelming military force (gun ships, tanks, special forces) got chewed up was the First Chechen–Russian War in 1994.

I won't spoil everything for military history enthusiast, but this is the BEST book I've read about the conflict between the armed Chechnya citizens vs the Russian Military in 1994.
https://www.amazon.com/Russias-Chechen-Wars-1994-2000-Lessons/dp/0833029983

The engagements near Grozny were especially brutal. Armed citizens, some of whom only had 10/22 rifles were using 2 liter soda bottles as "suppressors", and would take shots from the top of apartment buildings and snipe high ranking officers of the Russian military, and the shots were so quiet the only indication that anything had happened would be the Russian major falling down and slumping over. The shooter would be long gone, rifle disassembled and hidden in the floor boards of a kitchen. How the fuck do you fight that? With F-22 raptors? Please.

Now imagine your average military veteran, say in Texas, armed with an AR10, suppressed, with a Leupold 4-14x scope, and strategically placed tannerite at choke points. It would get bloody very quickly.

You are arguing with a troll. Just set him to ignore.

Nah, we need to have them continue to post their delusions, it makes it so easy to know what we're up against when the time comes.

Yep, a bunch of redneck cattle herders ran off the most powerful law enforcement on the planet.

But, but, but, they have tanks and SWAT and automatic weapons....
