Obamacare complications? The Exchanges that never worked? All that complexity? No problem.

But we can't have Real ID because of some hiccups. I guess we'll just have to let illegals have a driver's license. Gee Wilikers.

It's not RealD which "created mess" - the same requirements for checking immigration status were in place 20 years ago and everything worked fine (by CA standards that is). It's the fucking AB60 and the agenda to force citizens to accept the same DLs as given to illegals.

Ah rats! Real ID creating a mess for Pelosi's guests. That just tears me up inside it really does. Damn shame the DMV can't bend over backwards and kiss the illegal ass.

Are they finally gonna RFID chip everyone in the country? Been trying to do it for over 10 years and haven't succeeded yet...

This shit has nothing to do with RFID. CA DL doesn't have a chip inside. US passport does.

So why do I need a Real ID to travel commercial air when I have a passport anyway?

No? All passports are now RFID chipped. Sentri, which we have used for years has RFID. And what's this...

But I'm sure you're right, and this has nothing to do with micro-chips. Also, there is no NSA, PRISM, or any other creepy spying/invasions of privacy going on in the freest country in the world.

That's what I said. And they bear a special symbol denoting the fact right on the cover. DLs don't have it.

Not everybody "has a passport anyway" and it kinda seems silly to use one for travel inside your own country where you used to be perfectly fine with a DL.
10   RC2006   2018 Jul 11, 6:19pm

All of this because of illegals how much is it costing taxpayers? They give illegals DL now the drivers license is worthless and you have to have a “Real ID/License” WTF. Same as we use to get Birth Certificate from the hospital and that was good enough but because of Illegals that to was made null and void in the early 80s. 20 more years we will need a Really Real ID.

@tenpoundbass

Why aren't the Trump supporters up in arms about real I'd? The point of real I'd is facial recognition, brought upon us in 2005 by the new world order and the United Nations goal of having a database of everyone's face by 2030.

Huh? It's not like they don't have your face already. And WTF UN has to do with any of it?
12   RWSGFY   2018 Jul 14, 12:22am

RafiMaas says
Yes they had your face before but only in low resolution. Real id requires high resolution so they can use it for facial recognition. DMV must share with DHS too.

BS: they had it in high resolution all along. It's already in high enough resolution for facial recognition on the current DLs. Your story is booooooooooogus.

AF, is that you???
RafiMaas says
Don't worry there will not be any hiccups with Real I'd. It's your face they are after.

Why does DHS have faq's about real ID?
Why must there be no shadows on the face?

From that link:

Q. At what point in the application process should states capture the applicant's image?

A. States should capture the applicant's image at the beginning of the licensing process when the applicant submits a completed application to a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) representative for processing. If at any time during the application process fraud is suspected, the DMV should make every attempt to capture the applicant's image whether or not a completed application is submitted for processing.

Oops... they already have it in high def...

and I won't even mention all the passport pictures scanned into the system and Green Card images....
