Racism has definitely been on the rise, and no, not the tired black slave bullshit that everyone conveniently forgets was world wide, and started far earlier, and went on far longer other places in the world. Racism against Middle Easterner's and Hispanics.
This is something I always worried about as an outcome of 9/11, and now as an outcome of the illegal immigration debates. The other night someone on OfferUp was extremely racist to me because they assumed since I was in Chula Vista I was Mexican. When we focus on ethnicity rather than real issues we all get more ignorant.
