They like the idea of being "nice" to poor Guatemalans for example.

They don't actually care about the effect the illegal Guatemalans may have on American working poor who compete with them for wages and benefits.

Very funny. There is only one obstacle to solving the problem with illegals. The ultra rich libertarian wing of the republican party who care very much about illegals (and globalism) driving down wages/benefits and the effect it has on increasing their wealth. Trump's window dressing immigration bullshit is just theatre for the base. It doesn't have any real effect and isn't meant to.

Bread and circus for the masses. Propaganda works.

*ICE delivers more than 5,200 I-9 audit notices to businesses across the US in 2-phase nationwide operation*

Don't think ICE would be targeting employers under Clinton.

Meanwhile, Democrat states like California have passed laws to make it fucking illegal for employers to cooperate with ICE.

So tell us again which party is halfway serious about immigration reform and border enforcement?

I suspect this as well. And the filling of big Corporate PR/HR posts with SJWs was not an accident, nor is big Corporate funding for ethnic special interest groups.

Push unlimited immigration, and call everybody who opposes it a racist, sexist, homophobe.

Divide and conquer.

All this discussion about race, sex, gays has the primary purpose of distracting the public from actually looking at how globalist policies benefit our owners.

And it's very effective at that.

Now that is the ultimate shit-test, to find out:

1. who will comply, and thus must be discarded as men of sexual interest
2. who will refuse, or perhaps have not heard of, such an insulting request and may remain within the category of possibly acceptable men

Summary: men who wear lipstick are never getting laid.

Indeed. A few examples.
https://www.wkrg.com/news/local-news/hiv-positive-man-accused-of-intentionally-infecting-women-in-pensacola/906174051

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/05/hiv-missouri-man/2769257/

And of course the great Progressive state of California has (in accordance with Democrat Party Values (TM)) made such activities almost legal! Democrats who choose to murder with their genitals will no longer be subject to inconvenient felonies or lengthy jail times, which would interfere with their mission to INFECT THE WORLD WITH AIDS!!!!!!!!

What they did not count on was the meteoric rise of The Donald to fill that gap and provide representation for the people who lost wages and benefits because of the globalist CoC.

A better question might be, "have republicans gone dishonest ?" But I think we all know the answer to that, and it started decades ago. So many idiots and not enough lies to put in their minds.

They're doubling down on the crazy.

In their unhinged reaction to Trump, they're showing their true goals, not their usual Gaslighting attempts to push it forward in steps. One example of many:

"You can't vote Republican, they're against the Workers" vs. "FUCK YOU, RUSTBELT WHITE RACIST, DIE DIE DIE!"

And my favorite illustration of Gaslighting vs. their true Goals:

I honestly don't get it. You don't think there is racism in Mexico towards the poorest, often darker skinned (descended more from more indigenous and less from European) Mexicans? Or for that matter that those same people aren't less likely to have their voter ID ?

Seriously. These cartoons are usually really stupid and based on ignorant straw man projections of what "liberals" think.. But honestly, I don't get this one at all. That is, I don't get what you think it means.

I honestly don't get it. Do you and other Liberals really think there is a statistically significant population of Americans who are so poor and so incapable of getting a basic ID that we have to pervert all of our election laws into a primitive banana-republic situation?

You do the poor no favors of making laws that encourages them to continue to live off the grid with no ID.

They sure as shit manage to get through all the paperwork for AFDC, HUD, and social security disability benefits. And buying $150 sneakers.

But shelling out $30-40 for an ID once every 6-8 years is too much money, too much hassle.

Some GOP should offer Amnesty to Venezuelans and give the political asylum.
Rescued Latinos from Leftist Thug nations are the most loyal Republican voters there is.
Should import about 4 million of them and put them in California. That alone would tip the balance in their elections for years to come.

I do know if there was a consorted effort to do just that. The Democrats would have a measure on the floor making it illegal to stack districts with political leaning refugees. They would also get on board with the wall and Emigration reform.

In the long run I don't think voter ID makes a difference compared to the present system, based on residence etc. THat is, other than the wasted cost.

DO you actually know people that think our present voting system is

Wtf ? I would rather see money spend on preventing election fraud - through hacking, or other manipulation, than the BS distraction that voter ID is.

Also, my point above wasn't to argue that voter ID is racist. I was questioning the point of the cartoon. Mexico having voter ID would be just as likely to convince me that voter ID is racist as that it isn't.

If voter ID is "racist" and I use the term the way it's meant in this context, it would be mostly in the short run, becasue in the short run, especially in districts where there are large populations of poor minority voters, there would be more people in those neighborhoods, that are eligible to vote with the current system, but who would not bother getting their ID, compared to higher income enclaves, where people would be better informed about it, and who would take this minor bit of red tape as nothing, they would just go online or whatever and get that ID without thinking twice about it.

IF it's done through the DMV, I'm not very psyched about that. DMVs in California are having serious problems keeping up with the population as it is for their current functions.

Paper ballots and voter ID solves a bunch of this. You can't hack paper ballots that easily, and there will always be a written copy to double check voting tallies.

These are different problems. The solutions aren't mutually exclusive. Cant we do paper ballots AND voter ID checks?

Voter ID would absolutely help. There is no rational argument against voter ID laws. None. Unfortunately reason has been thrown out the window in favor of tribalism.
