A Chicago-based newspaper columnist predicted re-election for President Trump in 2020 after witnessing first-hand the enthusiastic support for the president among blue-collar workers.

Neil Steinberg attended a recent appearance by the president at a U.S. Steel facility in Granite City, Illinois, outside St. Louis. He wrote about speaking to steel workers and seeing how Trump connected with the audience.

"We need steel," Trump said. “We need steel plants. And to see an old, big monster plant like this re-opening — that is an honor. I look at the faces of you people; I could be one of you. I like you guys. I could be one of you.”

Steinberg concluded:

"The workers, for their part, couldn’t give him a standing ovation because they never sat down.

I left the hall thinking: Donald Trump is going to be re-elected in 2020. The Democrats don’t have anyone who can touch him. Bank on it. Don’t hate me for being the one to tell you."

So true. Everybody has their own problems and plights, their families and friends to take care of, doing the daily grind, and maybe party and kick back a bit after working hard if time permits. This is especially true for blue collar workers and the flyover states, doing equally if not more important work than the coastal elitists. The LAST THING people want is some BLOVIATING LEFTOID elitist cuck telling them bullshit stories about racism, genderism, the importance of tranny bathroom access, or any other fringe bs. All they want is somebody who listens to them and says, hey I got your back, don't worry about your jobs, we will keep you happily employed and productive members of society. It's amazing that the party that used to be there for those people way back in time was the Democratic party, now they are just bloviating politburo apparatschiks that want to live the high life in their posh districts on taxpayer money while leaving the schmucks and illegals on the dependent dole.

Just remember folks, this is what TDS really looks like:

People freaked the fuck out over that, yet, point out that Trump is totally out of touch with actual day to day working class Americans and people are bending over backwards to defend him. Fuck, just admit it, He's out of touch with 99% of us.

Trump's strength is that he is absolutely in touch with the working class. He speaks about the issues most important to them, mainly jobs.

It's the Democrats who are out of touch, and they still don't get it. So they will lose again.

Cmon Democrats! Do the right thing and drop the divisiveness, get back to representing all working people. You can do it. It's not too hard for you. It's only your wounded pride that's in the way.

Yet he doesn't know you don't need an id to go shopping. That's by definition out of touch.

Out of touch is to believe the majority of the people pay cash when they go shopping and don't use credit or debit cards requiring ID or PINs.

Out of touch is to believe that ANYONE can function in a modern 1st world county without ID.

Yesterday - in San Diego buying some electronics.

Trump is unlike any other politician because he isn't a politician.

He isn't working for special interests so he figures out what would be best for the American people and then he works towards making it happen. No lobbyists or donors to consult.

This how government should work.

Ocasio-Cortez 2024!

I hope so! That should go over about as well as Geraldine Feraldo.

To which you’ll say “who?”

A few weeks ago, both at Walgreens and Publix, most recently Chicago and (earlier this year) Florida, I had to show my ID with my credit card.

North to South, Drug Store to Supermarket.

Democrats don't even understand why they've been losing bigly for the past 18 months. By 2020, my guess is they will still be clueless.
