Left today = 1930's Nazis

By CBOEtrader following x   2018 Aug 7, 6:23am 1,067 views   31 comments   watch   sfw   quote     share

Heinrich Heine, a Jewish German poet of the early 19th Century noted in reference to the Spanish Inquisition burning the Koran "Where they burn books, they will, in the end, burn human beings too." A little over 100 years later, the Nazi's burned his books in their 1930's university led book burnings to resounding cheers from the masses.

Here we are almost 200 years later making the same societal mistakes.

Lets be clear, if you cant draw a line here and say censorship of your political opponents is bad, then you are no better than the 1930's Nazi's.

If by The Left you mean The Republicans then now you’re on to something.

It’s important to remind yourselves that Republicans have absolute control over every branch of government, and at most every level

Makes it hard to be the Nazis when you’re powerless. I do agree, this does feel like Nazi rule. It’s just that the left is out of all power positions

Please don't let facts interrupt with the OP's desire to wallow in a victim mentality.

Whats next are they going to say how scary it is to go outside wearing the red dunce cap because some 20 years old string bean at Berkeley might accost them while wielding a stick? Oh noes, the horror!!

CBO, I think the left is turning more into Moa’s Red Guard especially college youth and their instructors. The danger with Democrats being overrun by these types is that it does setup the possibility of something like a real Nazi Party being created to counter it. Either way silencing people is going to be the first step into the wrong direction.

You mean like this idiot who is openly advocating against free speech?

Lefties, I call on you to condemn this process of thought. Let’s see if anyone does.

But not Corporations, Academia, or the Press.

In fact, that there is Conservative control of all three branches, and most state legislatures, yet such anti-White anti-Conservative, anti-Populist, anti-Male extremism in those powerful non-government institutions is illustrative of a major disconnect between voters and the clerisy.

Nor do they control the union protected Bureaucracy.

Progs have burrowed into all levels of our government Bureaucracy and still have massive power and influence over our lives.

Our politicians are up for re-election every 2, 4 or 6 years. But the Bureaucracy lives on for decades.

right i'm sure you can offer up a whole list of laws progressives have rallied onto the books that are adversely effecting our lives, lol

I can offer real world evidence of real laws that effect real people in the real world with real consequences, like Hemp/Cannabis Prohibition and the Rights War on Drugs, which is just a means to control and harm us all. Especially blacks. You won't see or hear the dishonest crowd that's crowing about college campus nonsense ever address reality though. But muh college professor was a liberal!

Don't forget the media. Almost all journalists are on the left.

The only thing the left lacks is control over voting. They used to have that too, more or less, via the illusion of an impartial press. But now that the press has openly abandoned journalism in favor of propaganda, the public has seen through that illusion.

Thank God for democracy and the First Amendment.

For real? All the Progs do is pass rules and laws micro-managing and adversely effecting our lives. That is their very reason for existence.

How about we start with the pension crisis Progs and their union masters have inflicted on numerous cities throughout the country causing bankruptcy, crumbling cities, high crime, high taxes and misery?

Banning Straws?
Banning Plastic Bags?
Mandating low flow Shower heads?
Ripping down historical statues?
Banning books?
Forcing schools to let men into women's bathrooms?
Destroying businesses if they refuse to participate in gay weddings?

Oh my where are my manners?

Of course the War on Drugs was implemented to help people, especially blacks and minorities.

The Conservatives who implemented it from Asslinger to Nixon were just lying when they said “let’s do this War on Drugs to disenfranchise blacks!”

Yes, no parents of overdosed children, no women sick of drug dealing in their neighborhood, had anything to do with it.

Also, all those convicted Black murderers who murdered other Blacks over drug sales should be freed, because the Drug War is racism.

Are you claiming that the War on Drugs has been successful in curbing drug use?

Alcohol is still celebrated even while continuing to cause incalculable amount of harm.

That's a non response to any point I made, which was drugs are largely illegal because crying parents on TV moved the public, and thus politicians, to ban the shit.

Most 15 year olds don't have enough time to kill themselves from alcohol. Liver damage isn't overnight. Heroin overdoses are.

It was America. Now we live in an America where a 2.5M subscriber content creator is banned for unspecified inappropriate speech, but the NYT hires a Rich, Privileged Asian Racist with scores of anti-White, anti-Male, anti-Geriatric tweets including death wishes.

I remember when not just the Left, but everybody except for Neo-Nazis, Communists, and the PMRC held the First Amendment to be immutable.

Good thing SCOTUS in 2017 confirmed unanimously that "Hate Speech" has no bearing on Free Speech.
