Knowing that I'm a huge fan of red wine, my wife got me a Zinfandel vine a few years ago and we planted it in front. Finally got enough grapes to make a tiny bit of wine.
And it's OK, quite tart and yeasty, but that makes sense because it's not aged at all, and I probably overdid the yeast. But has a pleasant freshness to it as well.

I'm sure there are grapes that would grow there. TPB you should grow black pepper (piper nigrum) I've been given plants from Florida but I don't have the humidity, though now I have my greenhouse working pretty good might try again.
