There’s been something of an awakening happening in California recently. While the state’s faith community led the charge in shutting down the latest attempt to curb the free speech and religious rights of certain counselors and ministries, concerned parents are standing against the implementation of sex education curricula in the state that introduces children, as young as 11, to sexually explicit content. The California legislature passed AB 329 in 2015, changing state law related to sexual health education to include LGBT issues, and sexual practices as part of statewide curriculum for K-12 graders in the state. The bill included a provision allowing parents to pull their child/children from their school’s sexual education class. Parents are taking advantage of this provision now and asking their school boards to implement policies that help them do just that.

Yesterday, about 700 parents showed up at the Chino Valley Board of Education meeting to demand the school district allow parents to opt out of K-12 sex education curricula. Concerned parents from varied ethnicities and backgrounds held signs reading “Let Parents Decide” and “Support Parents’ RIGHT TO DECIDE”. Pastor Jack Hibbs with Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and about 40 other concerned citizens spoke in favor of a proposal to require the school district to notify parents when “comprehensive sexual education”, HIV prevention education, family life education, and even instances which may imperil their child’s physical/bodily privacy on school premises.

Fire all of those Mutts!

At least 700 parents in this state are willing to fight for their children. Good folks, amen.

We parents pay more in taxes for those schools than you think.

If we pay for them, we choose how it runs.

HEYYOU says
Don't like it, home school these little CO2,trash producing, resource depleting brats of stupid parents.
These parents aren't raising hell over other Americans having to pay taxes so they can send their children to a
public school paid for by others' hard earned taxes? Fucking Socialist!

"While the state’s faith community"
Delusional fucks! How many of these same gullibles believed "Iraq has WMD"?

This is the kind of stuff that happens when parents forfeit their rights as parents. Schools are academic institutions, not life teachers. I've made that abundantly clear many times with my daughters school, to the point that they're scared shitless of me.

Maybe they shouldn't call the courses "Orifice Spelunking For Cissies", and stop handing out condoms and vibrators to first graders.

So Why The FUCK should we pay for the consequences of YOUR actions?

Because our kids will be paying your Social Security and Medicare.

We need at least replacement level birth levels to prop up our shaky entitlement ponzi schemes.

Either that, or we will need to import a bunch a more immigrants.

Weren’t you there?

Jokes aside I was just telling hey you that I’m paying plenty of taxes. But illegals pay zero for same schools pushing that burden into taxpayers.

Yeah that is unfair as it gets.

And we NON-parents pay also. Total rip off. Were we in the bedroom making YOUR babies? No.

So Why The FUCK should we pay for the consequences of YOUR actions?

We need to start vetting the education system get the commies, fags and freaks out of education.
The worst people on the planet are educating our kids. You would not let most of these people come to your house to baby sit.
Just let that sink in a minute.

There's a difference between political/social brainwashing and education? One would never suspect. Another good reason to go STEM.

Your hate and ignorance don't make it true.

I'd be the first to admit, some teachers are less than stellar. But as for not trustworthy ? You're wrong. If I were to guess, the percentage that are gay or marxist is less than what is out in the culture at large. And those that are, are 9/10 of the time notgoing to push their beliefs or preferences on to students. But yes, a lot of teachers are democrats. And probably only 20 to 25% are republicans.

I've never met a teacher that is as dishonest, narcissistic or amoral as our President. Now there's a person you would not want to let baby sit your kids. The guy openly talks about how attracted he is to his own daughter, wtf?

Yea...but I like his policies and he takes action.

TPB is right, those sick and twisted people need to be vetted out of schools.

We need education, not liberal propaganda.

Marcus is right, I don't blame teachers nearly as much as I blame the administration. No one sets out to become a teacher in order to brainwash kids. It is a noble profession, at least outside of large universities, that people join because they want to make a positive difference in kids lives. But after a few years of being hamstrung by administration, who is being dictated to by the Feds a-la federal funding, anyone could get discourage or burned out, see their vision die, and just try to get tenure.

We need to hold teachers accountable, but without a better system to support them, what the fuck do we expect? If you want a solid education, do it yourself(home school), or pay for private. If you have time to hold the system accountable, you may have the time or money to make one of the other methods work, and leaving a broken system is the best way to change it, by having it collapse, or push it to the brink creating an environment for massive reform.

You benefit from us making those kids because you can buy services from them at reasonable prices and not super high prices that would exist if you had to buy your latte from someone like yourself. They serve your meals, change the oil in your car, and do a myriad of other work that keeps civilization humming along. Some parent paid dearly in blood, sweat, tears, and treasure so that cute little 21 year old waitress could bring you your burger and a cold beer. Seems the least you could do is pay your taxes.
