Susan Collins really took huge risks engaging in rational discourse. You don't appeal to the highest common denominator when you are wrestling with pigs.

I watched her speech, and wow she nailed it. I think she was overly kind to Ford, didn’t see all the fakery there, but she presented a rock solid case for her vote and MORE IMPORTANTLY she displayed rare courage and conviction! She kept an open mind and considered the evidence rationally! She’s exactly what we need in senators and politicians: people of integrity!

Democrats raised 3 million for her future opponent. Boy is that going to be a losing ticket! She can’t possibly lose if she runs. Money can’t buy Democrats love.
