A B.C. school board is investigating the source of a worksheet assigned to a Grade 10 social studies class after a parent expressed concerns it was misleading about people who hold conservative political views.

The assignment, intended to teach students in the Kamloops-Thompson school district about differing views on the political spectrum, listed a series of political statements and asked students to identify whether they're associated with right-wing, centre, or left-wing views.

According to the answer key provided by the teacher, "a person who is racist" and "a person who believes women should stay home and be mothers," were associated with right-wing views.

Matt DeFouw, who lives in Kamloops, said he became concerned about the worksheet on Monday when his son texted him a photo of the assignment from his class at Valleyview Secondary School.

"I was very shocked to see what he sent," DeFouw said.

You dont have a problem w small children being propagandized to believe these evil republicans who they've never met are monsters waiting to harm them?
