“Is a Nuclear Explosion of Geologic Change”

"Antarctica is melting three times as fast as it was just 10 years ago, alarming scientists. A study earlier this year showed 3 trillion tons of ice had disappeared since 1992. That is the equivalent of enough water to cover the entire state of Texas with 13 feet of water, and raise global sea levels a third of an inch."

"In fact, the polar ice caps have melted faster in the last 25 years than they have in the last 10,000 years."

"To solve the crisis, we'd have to slow growth. And no one wants to admit that."

"Over the past couple of decades, climate scientists have warned government leaders that global warming could pose an extinction-level threat to humanity. In response, policymakers have asked climate scientists for recommendations to stave off catastrophic global warming, just as long as these recommended policies wouldn't curtail economic growth. Climate scientists, in turn, have come up with a series of proposals that are the equivalent of magic: They deliver desired results, but only if you believe in miracles. For the most part, everyone involved in this magic show has the right intentions. The problem is that we're betting our entire future on fairy dust."

Notice how it only mentions the ice that has melted. Not also the ice that has formed?

The NET story is quite different. But the Global Warming Grant Whoring business model would be ruined, so....

The following image is a mandatory pre-response to the Global Warming trolls who will start to viciously attack me personally in 5..4..3..2...

Here is an EASY experiment we can run. Take 1,000 'climate' scientists and split them into two groups.

Oh, I dunno what to call the two groups...hmmm, how about 'experiment' and 'control'? That sound good? Cause I just made them up! It's not as if anyone else have done this before, I am sure.

In the group called, 'experiment' convince all the 500 scientists that all global warming research funding worldwide has been abolished and will not be coming back. Cancel their grants, cut them off from the news, internet...full sequester. Have an AI voice emulator of their bosses, sig others, etc. tell them over the phone anything needed to convince them that the gig is up.

For the 'control' group, do nothing except for the sequestering.

Then ask both groups, "what do you REALLY believe about global warming as a valid scientific theory?"

See how they answer.

I think we already know what the outcome will be, with some outliers of course. Why? Because plenty of retired scientists have come forward saying in no uncertain terms that AGW is total bullshit, that's why.

All of that melting ice is displacing continental plates creating so many earthquakes today. The water is is being pressed into the sea floor the water doesn't rise the Continents do.

Relax our coastal towns wont get flooded and swamped our mountainous ones will.

Since it's settled science:

Please provide the numbers for where X amount of CO2 ppm will force Y change in temperature in Z timeframe. I accept the final result may have a 3-5% MoE.

Thanks!

When the ice sheet that connected Asia with North America melted away, that was global warming. This maybe not so much.
