Money growth at 4% in an economy otherwise growing at 6+% nominally is clearly not good news for assets.
Why not? Is it because dollars will become scarcer, thus the same dollar will be worth more (more buying power), which means you can buy the same asset for less dollars compared to last year? Like, deflation?
