Like they say, the opposite of love is not hate. It's indifference. To hate someone is to grant them obsessive attention.
I would not be at all surprised if Streisand actually feels deep attraction for Trump and is horrified by the feeling. There was a movie where Jack Nicholson was a complete asshole, and yet the woman who hates him the most can't help being seduced by him. Women can't help noticing dominance the same way men cannot help noticing T&A.

Her new album, “Balls,” is a rare instance of politics permeating her music, and in an interview, she could barely stop talking about her least favorite president.
Barbra Streisand has a new album, one that is the musical embodiment of her singular dislike of President Trump, and the rare instance of her political views entering her music. One track already released, “Don’t Lie to Me,” is a direct address to her fellow native New Yorker who now holds the Oval Office.
There are similar messages throughout the album, “Balls,” due on Friday, which also includes a medley of John Lennon’s “Imagine” and Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” The title track warns that people now “put them where they shouldn’t be.”
