Looks like both House and Senate will remain Republican at this point.

Come on Republicans. We all know you are incapable of independent thought, so without anyone telling you otherwise, you just blindly, unquestionably support all R all the time. But you’re still American and if there’s any divergence from your Islamic type Religious Conservatism, if there actually is a God, you have to reject Pete Sessions for his anti American ways. Bring home Colin Allred for America, even though you’re willing to put your love of racism above the Sovereignty of my country

WTF in Michigan? Check out John James for Senate v. Stabenow.. Of course, probably little Urban Vote in.

Also Gollum is going down to defeat for FL Gov. 93% in, 1% lead DeSantis. Last in is likely Panhandle, slow counting b/c of hurricane

I've always found this to be an interesting analogy

Aphroman says

That might be a bit extreme, but there is an analogy there. Because in the same way that many (not nealry all) otherwise supposedly moderate Muslims won't condemn Islamists who preach death to all infidels, likewise many otherwise NOT racist republicans don't seem to have a problem with politicians that pander to racists.

I guess an argument could be made that it's not as much tolerance of racism, or deep sympathy to toward racist views, as it is a willingness to win elections in any way possible so that the rich can get richer and our new gilded age can flourish while the working man can slowly be ground down.

Gated communities and shanty towns here we come, just as the founding fathers intended !!

Still the shitstorm and drama we call the Trump Presidency will continue, with the drama ratcheted up a few notches with a democratic controlled house !!

I know the Special Snowflakes hate to admit it, but they’re almost indistinguishable from one another.

Religious Conservative Islamists
Religious Conservative Christians

Both are generally pretty stupid to get duped so hard into the whole organized religion scam. Both dislike Freedom. Both are bad for business and for Individual Liberty

Who gives a fuck until Republicans cease their jihadist campaign against our freedoms so we can easily bet five figures on it at very low juice

No, just a good statistician and detail driven analyst.

Funny that a lot of his critics seem to have a rather deep misunderstanding of polls, statistics, and probability.

Even in the couple hours that I've been viewing here, https://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/2018-election-results-coverage/?ex_cid=extra_banner 538's assessment of the probability of democrats taking control of the house has fluctuated a lot.

Even now he's got the republicans at a 1 in 3 chance of holding the house. 1 in 3 events (where the odds are 2:1 against) happen all the time. He's not making predictions, he's doing a running assessment of probability, based on polls that are far from perfect, and at this point on exit polls and partial data as it comes in.

Correction, 2 in 9 now. Dropping fast.

1 in 10 now.

MY prediction of 39 seat gain for democrats could still be on the money !! Woohooo !!

After 7PM EST, any changing of the predictive model is BS.

The point is to predict the result in advance, not to adjust during the vote count. Anybody can do that!

You should make a better predictive model, if you think you can do better. That’s what a Real American would do, instead of wasting so much time being triggered

I see it as a pretty similar process. IT's just that the data from polls (not done by 538), is of lower quality. Desgning sampling methodology so that it represents what happens later in the election is what the polling is all about. 538 doesn't do that. They just analyze the somewhat garbage data coming from the pollsters.

Anybody can do that too. It's just that it seems like nobody does it better than 538.

I think he will lose, and since election will be very close, he might have been sunk by a small number of people voting against his MJ stance

GOP flips 3 Senate Seats so far: Florida, North Dakota, and Indiana.

Missouri and Arizona look great.

Sheesh, looks like my 2 Senate seat pickup claim was too conservative.

By the way, Dems, what happens after the House votes to begin Impeachment Proceedings?

The Housing Trap
You're being set up to spend your life paying off a debt you don't need to take on, for a house that costs far more than it should. The conspirators are all around you, smiling to lure you in, carefully choosing their words and watching your reactions as they push your buttons, anxiously waiting for the moment when you sign the papers that will trap you and guarantee their payoff. Don't be just another victim of the housing market. Use this book to defend your freedom and defeat their schemes. You can win the game, but first you have to learn how to play it.
