#southcitycarwashFor sixty years, this car wash has served residents in north San Mateo County. One can only guess how many millions of cars they washed in 60 years. Elena and I have been washing our cars here for 15 years.

I got the sad news yesterday that this South San Francisco institution will close in January of 2019. They never owned the land under the car wash. This land got too valuable. Some developer bought it for who knows how many millions of dollars.

An era comes to an end.
