Update: Mexico will deport approximately 500 migrants who "violently" tried to cross into the United States, according to Reuters.

#Mexico says it'll deport ~500 migrants who "violently" tried to "illegally" cross the US border.
— Steve Herman (@W7VOA) November 25, 2018

Officials closed the largest land crossing in North America on Sunday at San Ysidro as hundreds of migrants rushed the US border in an attempt to cross into the United States.

Thanks Mexico! Sincerely, I mean that.

Patrick, is zerohedge a reputable media outlet?

I’m not familiar with them.

AMLO seems to be willing to work with Trump also.

Mexicans are sick of the illegals, too.

Not that the Media will go out of their way to mention that.

The remaining migrants will likely behave well now.

An AltLefty elsewhere is trying to tell me using tear gas on the refugees is a war crime.

A typical NPC assertion is that tear gas is a chemical weapon.

Tear Gas or other asphyxiating gases are only illegal *in War***. The US is not at war with Honduras. And if we were, we could definitely shoot a Honduran Mob charging the border with real weapons.

Tear Gas is perfectly legit for riot control everywhere in the world, unless deliberately banned by law in a particular country. Which does not include the US (I can't think of any country that blanket bans domestic use of tear gas).

Now he's saying we fired into Mexico, so it's a war.

not really, they tend to suck Putin's dick

Well, this seems to be confirmed even in the MSM. Look at the section on Mexico's reaction.
Now, is this just talk or real? If I was Mexico, I would keep these protesters/migrants at the border to continue pressuring Trump and get the Left to insist on free border crossing for anyone. That is the end game here...

I don't think the game would end there.

Basically, what happened so far is:

* Women abandoned motherhood and demanded to take over men's jobs.
* Birth rates plummeted.
* Our owners, terrified that their obedient workers are no longer reproducing, decided on full-scale population replacement by opening the borders, both here and in Germany.

They want open borders, and they are completely in control of the media. They may yet get it, just by showing dead babies (doesn't matter whose) and women will all vote to open the border. Women are also interested in real men from the south, since their own men have proven to be spineless effetes in the face of feminist demands.

Mexico is the country of mordida's. Someone must have gotten a pretty big one to get that caravan all the way to TJ.

FAP FAP FAP.

This. I would just add a forth point

* Because Religion is no longer a force, the only force strong and 'legit' enough to stand up to multinationals, which wants open borders for people and goods and to have no checks on their behavior, is patriotism/nationalism.

robots is the next answer by our owners. When that works well, we are fucked

I dunno, robots need people to program and service them. At least so far.

How would that be any different than say, the invention of the tractor and related farm equipment? That advance in tech displaced hundreds of workers per large farm. Robots are just more of the same.

The impulse goes back to antiquity:

In 1299 Florence banned bankers from adopting Arabic numbers
At the end of the 15th century, scribe guilds of Paris managed to fight off the adoption of the printing press for two decades
In 1397, pin manufacturers in Cologne outlawed the use of pin presses
In 1561 the city council of Nuremburg made the manufacture and selling of lathes punishable with imprisonment
In 1579 the city council of Danzig ordered the secret assassination of the inventor of the ribbon loom--by drowning
In the late 1770's, the Strasbourg council banned a local cotton mill from selling its wares in town because it would disrupt the business model of the cloth importers

Sounds like an early form of the US Chamber of Commerce.

I do not see where people will be displaced to, other than permanent unemployment

I will say though that ZeroHedge at least tries to build a case using actual data (on its financial market related posts). NPCNN and MSNPC are almost devoid of actual data most of the time.
