The CFO of the Clinton Foundation, thinking he was "meeting an old professional acquaintance," admitted to investigators that the charity had widespread problems with governance, accounting and conflicts of interest, and that Bill Clinton has been commingling business and personal expenses for a long time.

Kessel told MDA "There is no controlling Bill Clinton. He does whatever he wants and runs up incredible expenses with foundation funds, according to MDA's account of the interview. "Bill Clinton mixes and matches his personal business with that of the foundation. Many people within the foundation have tried to caution him about this but he does not listen, and there really is no talking to him."

MDA compiled Kessel's statements, as well as over 6,000 pages of evidence from a whistleblower they had been working with separately, which they secretly filed with the FBI and IRS over a year ago. MDA has alleged that the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities, and may owe millions in unpaid taxes and penalties.

In addition to the IRS, the firm’s partners have had contact with prosecutors in the main Justice Department in Washington and FBI agents in Little Rock, Ark. And last week, a federal prosecutor suddenly asked for documents from their private investigation.

...

The memo also claims Kessel confirmed to the private investigators that private lawyers reviewed the foundation’s practices — once in 2008 and the other in 2011 — and each found widespread problems with governance, accounting and conflicts of interest.

“I have addressed it before and, let me tell you, I know where all the bodies are buried in this place,” the memo alleges Kessel said.

...

The 48-page submission, dated Aug. 11, 2017, supports its claims with 95 exhibits, including internal legal reviews that the foundation conducted on itself in 2008 and 2011. -The Hill

The officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said the probe is examining whether the Clintons promised or performed any policy favors in return for largesse to their charitable efforts or whether donors made commitments of donations in hopes of securing government outcomes.

The probe may also examine whether any tax-exempt assets were converted for personal or political use and whether the Foundation complied with applicable tax laws, the officials said. -The Hill

I say if they are violating the law or even ethics get them. Just do not delve into "whataboutism" and bring this up when others complain about Trump or other Republicans

The clintons have skated so many times on illegal activity they probably believe they are immune to prosecution.
So far they have been, but that’s because their friends have been holding all that power. With Jeff Sessions gone and Comey gone and Rosenthal on the outs, this situation may be rapidly changing.
I’d suggest that It would be better to backburner this investigation until Hillary wins the Democrat nomination in 2020.

Yeah, guess Kessel is begging to join the ranks of those who commit suicide by shooting themselves in the back with a long barreled shotgun.

You aren't truly powerful unless you have enough bodies for an Indiana Jones mausoleum. They burn incense to Lyndon Johnson.

No pardons, plea deals,no reduced sentences. Lock criminals up! They stay in their cells except to eat & participate in daily exercises. Calisthenics or stay in their cells. They get a choice.
If found guilty, the convicted can go down by themselves or choose to take someone with them.

Stick it! Bleeding hearts.

There is speculation that IHLlary's 'health' problems are in anticipation of indictment. It's a form of Sicilian Flu, where she will be pitifully and suddenly disabled and unable to properly participate in court proceedings or remember anything.

She did it once before when she supposedly got the head clunk, and then used that as an excuse to not remember anything about her email servers.

Cynically thinking, she will never be indicted. There is one set of rules for peons, and another one for aristocracy such ar IHLiary. Worst that will happen is that Clinton foundation will undergo cashectomy, enriching powerful DC lobbyists and lawyers.

The Clinton Foundation has always been a shallow excuse for political emoluments, lobbying funds, influence peddling, and bribes anticipating IHLlary's election to President. When that didn't happen, the speculation is that donors began circling like vultures for value for their 'contributions'. If the rats are abandoning the ship, it is probably in anticipation of turning State's evidence for immunity. Speculation also is that the Shadow Government has given the red light to their press subservients and organs of propaganda to start going after the Clintons and their brazen offenses. Typically, the Presidency would have rendered absolution to the Clintons by virtue of political power.

I agree that it was influence peddling by Hillary and that is one of the reason she was unpopular even with Democrats. That said, she was a capable administrator with a good team and would have done much better than the Dotard who seems lost as a president.

Really?

Care to share with us all her wonderful accomplishments with her good team as Sec of State and Senator of NY?

I'm sure that's a really long list, right?
