If the new one is too big and/or too expensive, why not buy an iPhone 8, 7, or 6 for a fraction of the price of the latest and greatest.

I’m typing this on an iPhone6 and I love it with no plans to upgrade.

I am an Apple fanboy since 1984. I had an iPhone 5 and I liked it.

I also like the Motorola Android phone I am using now, and like Android a lot. I'm off topic however.

I too wonder how people will want to continually upgrade from excellent hardware to even more excellent hardware.

I liked the smallness of the iPhone 5 and SE or similar; I could text with my thumb while holding it in one hand, something I can't do with my Motorola. The larger screen is fun for other things however.

But Apple will keep making tons of money so I am not concerned about the present stock price. The dividend they pay me in March will buy a couple of more free shares for me and that's what I want, more shares. I'll let the share price catch up later to $300/share. How soon this happens is unknown but I will wait.

Exactly... it has to be Trump's fault.

It just couldn't be that the per capita income in China is like $16K a year. I'm sure everyone of those people run out and buy NEW $1000 phones every year.
