This just has to stop... We need to Impeach TRUMP.... STAT.... Quick, go get Nancy on the phone!!!

The numbers: The U.S. gained 312,000 new jobs in December, capping off the biggest increase in hiring in three years and showing that second longest economic expansion in U.S. history still has plenty of staying power despite growing worries about a slowdown.

The surge in hiring was the largest since February. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had forecast a 182,000 increase.

Hiring in November and October was also stronger than originally reported, the government said Friday.

Let's thank Santa Clause.
The Rep/Con govt. doesn't create jobs. Free markets do.
Who needs a job ? If one is a failure, the Rep/Cons will bail one out. TBTF, loser soybean farmers.
College debtors don't need jobs either. Reps & Dems may just bail them out.

Who's this private citizen Obama you speak of?

But liberals can keep their cushy government jobs? One thing I can agree with you on is that it takes a conservative mindset to run the private sector. Without the private sector what do we have?

Please don't confuse me with someone that gives a shit about the dumb Left. ;-)
The Democrats are in charge of the House. They better get their shit together or someone will rub it in their faces.
I can't stand that mealy mouth Pelosi & so many of her dumb supporters.

Edit: Democrats are too dumb to qualify for a private sector job.

Hmmm, no...

The stock market meltdown is caused by the Dems taking the House. Get it right.

Actually the US lost 54,000 jobs. +312,000 is the seasonally adjusted figure (i.e. usually we would have lost more jobs in December).

https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t17.htm

Not poo-pooing the figure, it's a great result.

The average pay is up (more per hour, and more hours worked per week). Good trajectory.

Btw "under employment" after the recession hasn't been a thing since 2011.

Average working hours went above pre-recession levels since 2011.

Average hourly wages grew slightly above inflation with the best real gains in 2015 & 2016.

Where does the idea that people are working more part time jobs or taking worse pay come from?

Trump rocks. It's amazing how some political changes can so quickly improve the economy.

The converse is also true; a political dimwit can fuck up a good economy.

It was depressing in the 70's which are so deeply imprinted on my psyche that I can't spend my money so easily today. I still feel the need to be frugal, it's odd.

The Democrats are only going to make themselves look more idiotic than before, if that were possible, by attacking Trump for continuing to defend Americans, American jobs and the American worker.
