Even though the sole purpose of the Census is to facilitate Federal Elections.

NEW YORK, Jan 15 (Reuters) - A federal judge on Tuesday rejected the Trump administration's plan to add a U.S. citizenship question to the 2020 census, the first ruling in a handful of lawsuits nationwide that claim the question will hurt immigrants.

U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman in Manhattan said U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross concealed his true motives in adding the question last March, ostensibly to help the government enforce the federal Voting Rights Act. Only American citizens can legally vote in federal elections.

The plaintiffs - 18 U.S. states, 15 cities and various civil rights groups - said that asking census respondents whether they are U.S. citizens will frighten immigrants and Latinos into abstaining from the count.

1. That's great, they shouldn't be voting, so it's great that they don't complete.
2. Libbies are always insisting Illegals aren't getting any benefits, so again, no problem.

1. 99% of Democrats tacitly want illegals to vote.
2. This has been proven wrong even by leftist sources (though they now argue that the monetary costs are "overblown").

One problem with the citizenship question is that there might be a lot of lying going on. What if non-citizens check the box that they are citizens? Inaccurate information.

Any question could be answered untruthful. What's your point?
