The Government Spends close to a $11 Billion Each Day, so the $5 Billion for the Wall doesn't even equal a half day of Spending.

This is what Nancy and Chuck are being assholes about.

$5 Billion (out of almost $4 TRILLION).

That's a half a day of spending out of the complete year for the government.

When you put that into perspective, it shows how useless and petty the Democrats are.

Here's a full week, see any difference?

Here's the full year, notice the same guy from the first picture standing on the right. I circled him in RED on the bottom, because you can barely see him.

Amount of money isn't a problem. Problem is that leftists are ideologically against the wall. They rather die than have a wall, because they are blind Pelosi followers.

They are not against walls.
They are against Trump's wall.

They're aggainst holding government hostage over a disagreement with Congress.

I'm sure your partisanship won't let you agree, but they're not. Trump is because he's the one that made re-opening the government contingent on an appropriation for the wall.

Funding the government and funding the wall are separate decisions. Under normal democratic process Congress gets to vote and the President gets a veto on each decision.

Hostage taking occurs when one actor makes a negative contingency like "give me your money or you'll never see your son again". I wouldn't give you any money if you didn't take a hostage. Here, Trump couldn't get money for his wall so he's holding the government hostage.

You need to be...

So call "hostage " situation could be avoided long time before. Dems gladly allowed on this to happens. Government employee are for them simply collateral damage over polities. It was always like this for them.

If budget be passed by simply majority of votes, Trump will have money for wall long before Dems took majority of House.

So, Trump can write spending bills now? When did that happen?

Well, no they're not. Funding the government includes paying for all the costs of the illegals, so stopping the flow of illegals into the country decreases the costs government has to pay. Where did you learn civics?

Please stop listening to CNN. The wall is only PART of what Trump wants for border security, and it's only a couple of hundred miles that the border patrol is requesting. Why do you not want to give the border patrol the tools they are requesting to do their jobs?

That would be a line item veto, a power some Governors have but not the President. Most bills submitted by Congress are laden with a conglomeration of unrelated actions, and the President must accept all or none.

Hostage taking occurs when one actor makes a negative contingency like "give me your money or you'll never see your son again". I wouldn't give you any money if you didn't take a hostage. Here, Trump couldn't get money for his wall so he's holding the government hostage.

So far Trump has not vetoed any Legislation. Obama has used his veto power 12 times. Since vetoing by a President is "hostage taking," does that makes Obama a serial hostage taker because he refused to sign bills that had a provision he did not like or something he wanted was missing?

Referring to a Presidents Constitutional veto power as "hostage taking" shows YOUR partisanship.

Democrats seem like butt-hurt losers of the last election who refuse to cooperate on border security only so that Trump cannot claim yet another victory.

All they care about is hurting Trump.

They do not care about the millions of poor US citizens who are directly harmed by lower wages caused by mass illegal immigration. Trump is the only one speaking for labor.

It doesn't get more clearer than looking at this poll. The only thing that changed was the president, from Obama to Trump. This is a repost from the other thread:

The people wanted more done under Obama, but now say it's too tough.

Never under estimate the power of koolaid being served by the Liberal media.

Never underestimate the value of leadership that unites, and the opposition to being a divisive demagogue turd.

Never under estimate the stupidity of the Democrat voter, as the conditions with illegal immigration didn't change from 2016 to 2017, just the ability for the Liberal media to turn the Democrat voters into useless idiots.

The press had its immune system weakened by losing most of its ad revenue to Facebook and Google.

And now it's infected with a probably fatal number of intolerant leftists who will gladly make up fake news to try to get at Trump. Good judgement totally gone.

No one should trust the press anymore. Not after all this.
