I agree with Gab.com

Gab.com operates on one rule: if political speech is legal in the United States, that speech is allowed on Gab.com.

Companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Twitter, Netflix, Patreon, Square, and Stripe disagree with this proposition, and believe not only that it is morally correct to dictate to Internet users what opinions we are and are not allowed to hold, but that it is morally correct to deplatform any company that disagrees with the California consensus, and actively suppress opinions, as well as the people who express them, where their users' beliefs don't accord with corporate interests.

As a result, Netflix now pulls comedy shows that offend Saudi monarchs, Twitter removes content of journalists and human rights activists in Pakistan, and Patreon kicks off conservatives and libertarians in the United States.

Human beings hold, and in America they have the freedom to express, a very wide range of incompatible opinions. At Gab we believe, as former President Obama put it, that "the strongest weapon against hateful speech is not repression, it is more speech." The only thing censorship accomplishes is the elimination of reasoned argument and self-sorting into filter bubbles.

People everywhere are waking up to the significant danger of allowing banks and large technology companies to police their opinions and what they are and are not allowed to see. Companies like our own, like our DNS hosting provider epik.com, and our new payment processor, 2nd Amendment Processing, recognize both the danger of kowtowing to online mobs and the significant upside potential of serving as the backbone of the free and open Internet.

We are immensely pleased to be working with 2nd Amendment Processing, a company that recognizes that freedom of speech is not a means to an end, but an end unto itself, and we recommend 2nd Amendment Processing to any company with difficulty securing payment processing services for political reasons. We welcome freedom-loving people everywhere - no matter who they are or what they believe - to join us in building a better Internet on Gab.

Gab Becomes Invite-Only While We Work On A Solution To Bots

Gab has made the decision to do a total and complete shutdown of open user registration and move to an invite-only system until we can figure out what is going on with the flood of spam and bot accounts attacking our community and put measures in place to stop it.

This past week we have had over 50,000 bots join the site and automatically follow users while also attacking our product infrastructure. We have since suspended these bot accounts. We must be vigilant against these attacks on our community and will be shifting to an invite-only system until further notice. GabPro members can create invite codes and invite friends, fans, and family.

It was recently reported that over 50% of Facebook's users are potentially bots. It has also been reported that tens of millions of Twitter's users are bots.

Gab has no interest in building a fake community filled with robots.

Gab is building a community for real people like You.

Thank you

"Gab is an English-language social media website, known for its mainly far-right user base.[9] The site has been described as "extremist friendly"[10] or a "safe haven"[11] for neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and the alt-right.[10] The site allows its users to read and write multimedia messages of up to 3,000 characters, called "gabs".[12] It has stated that conservative, libertarian, nationalist and populist internet users were its target markets.[13].

Today’s bit from Trump demonstrate this issue quite well. How long before mainstream media decides for you what you should read, see or hear.

From Breitbart, ‘President Donald Trump detailed his position Sunday on withdrawing troops United States from Afghanistan and Syria.’
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/02/03/donald-trump-weve-got-to-get-out-of-these-endless-wars/

From Yahoo and MSN – MIA, no even a peep because it is unconstructive to the anti-Trump narrative.

Instead, Yahoo had, ‘ Trump: I took care of core NFL protest issues.’

MSN: ‘Trump a racist.’ Trump refuse to say..Mueller..’, ‘How Trump plays havoc with OPEC policy’.

All that Saudi surplus USD from petro trade must be invested in the US remember?
