Almost 80% approval on both of the DNC's biggest puppet networks.

You know there was a lot of gnashing of teeth to put this on screen.

Trump is literally a double edged sword. When he's on, he can slice through Democrat demagoguery like a light saber, and that's how the dude got elected.

You just hope he doesn't slice himself in the process.

The approval is likely true but rather meaningless as with most of the SOU speeches in recent years mostly pro the POTUS of the moment watch, his opponents don't. But Trump is probably happy as he is mostly concerned with his base of support.

I have to find that old thread done by a British Group on American groupings. Basically, about 75-80% of Americans are moderate. Only 12% are SJWs, but since they control the Media/Hollywood/Entertainment, they seem like they represent "America".

They're as out of touch as Amanda Marcotte:

They high-fived themselves. They danced. They rolled their eyes at the pussy-grabbing executive. They threw major shade. Most importantly, Abrams laid out the positive Democratic agenda.

Note, CNN is on the bottom for viewers, and they STILL voted 76% positive. What a smack down.

So, 76% were old Republicans???

Even your graphic is missing the 34% of other voters....

Hint: the 76% came from the CNN viewers poll, you know, where you were watching. What's that mean? Were 3/4 of the viewers on CNN Trump supporters?

You can't make this shiyt up!!

P.S. Man I sure do hope Starbucks Guy runs!

Many of the strategic dweebs in the DNC screaming about Starbucks Guy have heard of Duverger's Law even if Nate Silver apparently never has:

Duverger suggested an election in which 100,000 moderate voters and 80,000 radical voters are voting for a single official. If two moderate parties ran candidates and one radical candidate were to run, the radical candidate would win unless one of the moderate candidates gathered fewer than 20,000 votes. Observing this, moderate voters would be more likely to vote for the candidate most likely to gain more votes, with the goal of defeating the radical candidate. Either the two parties must merge, or one moderate party must fail, as the voters gravitate to the two strong parties, a trend Duverger called polarization.

Which happened in 1992. Perot took 19% of the vote and more voters from Bush than Clinton. That is how Clinton 'won' despite the fact that 58% of voters voted for someone else other than him. In 2000, when Al Gore only needed ~1000 voters to put him over the recount margin of error to beat Bush, Nader took ~97,000 Florida voters away from him. That cost Gore the 2000 election from the get-go: forget the BS about the hanging chads.

Starbucks Guy is not REPUBLICAN LITE but LIBERAL; however not BATSHIT CRAZY LIBERAL. Plus, the big fight is over suburban voters as the Batshit Crazy Eventual Nominee of the Batshit Crazy Dem Party will get the majority of the urban vote while Trump will carry the rural and most of the exurban votes. Starbucks Guy will be the Dems' Ross Perot in the suburbs.

The Dems have counted on as being the only alternative for Trump haters running against Trump. Starbucks Guy pisses all over that strategy. Meanwhile, the right will still have only one real choice in the race: Trump

I really, really, really hope Starbucks Guy runs!

Starbucks guy is pretty moderate Liberal. He’s attractive to a lot of people in the middle. I expect he will be smeared as the third coming of HITLER (Trump already has dibs on second coming) as soon as he declares his candidacy.
Moderates aren’t watching the news anymore though. The MSM burned those bridges down with their constant barrage of fake, biased, and questionable news over the past three years.

Quigley says

No, but they will be forced to watch the attack ads. And to make traction, he's going to have to introduce himself to suburban moderates and distinguish himself apart from the Wack Job Democrats via TV ads. That means de facto attack ads even though they won't necessarily attack anybody directly. This is because he and the Dems will be essentially fighting over each others voters: those who won't vote for Trump anyway. He won't be taking much away from Trump's voters. And you nailed the reason why the Dems will consider even the most innocuous ad a mortal threat to them, already.

Remember: There's a geographic aspect to all of this thanks to the physical 'self-sorting' of voters that has been going on for 15 years now. Trump voters are more spread out, Dem voters are highly hyper concentrated geopolitically. Suburbs are the battlegrounds. Just ask Shrillary when she ignored them at her peril.

This is why Trump can SAFELY ignore California producing 3 MILLION extra votes for the Batshit Crazy Dem candidate and the Dems commit political suicide in their continual jihad against rural, Deplorable America. Those 3 MILLION are wasted votes, as they are not needed to carry CA for the Batshit Crazy Dem and they can't be applied out-of-state. Same with the super wasted vote surpluses generated by New York and Illinois. It is no wonder why the Dems ALL OF A SUDDEN have decided that the same apportionment of congressional representation & direct taxation proceeds being applied to electoral college representation is suddenly constitutional evil incarnate.

Maybe not even, when Mueller is done and the moment they open their mouths we can say "Whelp, there was a multi-million dollar investigation headed by one of the best thought of prosecutors in the country, that found nothing but some tax evasion and process crimes, none of which had jack shit to do with Russia."

And encourage them to spin the wildest, most fantastic conspiracy theories of Russian Collusion.

Trump gave a great speech and that's why people liked it. Here's my summary, but I may leave something out. They are probably out of order since I am trying to remember his points.

1. The economy is improving.
2. The stock market rose and investors' net worth is up (W5000 index value increased trillions)
3. Taxes are lower (e.g. doubling of standard deduction)
4. Earned income credit is higher (free money for single mothers)
5. Unemployment is low
6. Workforce participation is high; highest number of employed in our history
7. We wasted our treasure in the Middle East; $7 trillion and counting
8. We are wasting our treasure in Afghanistan; tens of billions per year
9. Drug prices are too high; something is going to be done.
10. Suggest paid maternity leave
11. More women are representatives
12. Americans have exceptional achievements; the liberation of Europe and putting men on the moon are examples; several men who did both were introduced
13. Americans are overdosing and dying by the thousands; much of the heroin and fentanyl is from Mexico sent here by cartels.
14. The border with Mexico is open and needs to be closed to keep out the illegal heroin and fentanyl.
15. Immigration should be legal and people who share American values are preferred.
16. Since Americans can defeat fascism and put men on the Moon, of course we can secure the border with Mexico.
17. The opposing political parties should cooperate and compromise for the good of all Americans.
18. Socialism is not the American way and America won't be a socialist country.
19. Prison reform can help some people.
20. Allow the FDA to find cures faster.
21. Limousine liberal elites live behind gates and walls and have security guards; average Americans are those who suffer from illegal alien criminals.
22. Illegal alien workers in the millions compete for jobs and drive down wages for average Americans.
23. Repeal the Obamacare fine for not having an ACA approved plan (bronze, silver, gold, platinum)

In over an hour he said a lot and I didn't always pay attention and of course took no notes.
