"He was always a Republican, a registered Republican, so his real job was to save Trump, because all the GOPe McCains and Ryans loved Trump, and, and..."

"Four different Attorneys General (Sessions, Rosenstein, Whitaker, Barr) never blocked any of Mueller’s investigative steps means Muller didn’t go after Trump aggressively enough."

That's just stupid.

1) Everyone knew what this was about. IT was about Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

The investigation and report will indeed show this did occur.

As for TRump being out of the woods (even though some of his closest associates are going to prison (or will get pardoned ?) as a result of the investigation ? Even if this is the case, I certainly would not think any less of Mueller.

But fact is, I strongly believe other investigations of Trump will follow from the Mueller report, things that uncovered by Mueller that were outside the scope of that investigation.

I wonder what they will say about their kosher man Andrew Weismann inside the Mueller investigation.

He actually has left government (i.e., his career civil service job at DOJ) and is working for a non profit and going to teach law at NYU.

He was tasked to investigate any crimes that were discovered during the collusion investigation. So you are saying there are going to be endless investigations to continue his investigation ?

I realize Marcus that you want this to continue at least until election day 2020 and you are banking that he'll lose his re-election.

Which one of them was for direct collusion for affecting the 2016 elections?

I'll wait...

Outside the scope, you mean like investigating Manafort for tax evasion from over 10 years ago? How far out of scope are we talking about? Or indicting Cohen for money laundering on his personal tax returns?

Which part did the Russians have in those?

Yes, TDS really is!!

What do you think the treatment should be?
8   RC2006   2019 Mar 22, 8:45pm

The TDS going on is worse than I thought it could ever get to the point that's its past funny and becoming sad and scary.

I don't know the degree to which Mueller was to go off of the Russia theme. I think most crimes that were not related to Russia, were pursued with the expectation of negotiating admissions (evidence) about Russia.

In any case, from what I've read from neutral experts, Mueller was never going to go after the President for minor crimes (unrelated to Russian collusion). This isn't Ken Star. But if there are questions in Mueller's report, about other Trump crimes, then obviously there will be other investigations or congressional hearings.

In my opinion, exhausting the story in the media works in Trumps favor, rather than giving it a rest and bringing it back up in 2020.

But also in my opinion, Trump and his family might easily decide he doesn't want to be a 2 term President.

They can't give it a rest and then let it miraculously resurface in October 2020. I know you want them to not create fatigue but time it right before the election.

OK maybe Trump won't run again and he gets replaced with an even more anti open border Republican.

Now we can see what is more important for our loved congressmen:

*Investigation for (not a crime) collusion took almost two years. Several people arrested.

*Investigation after 9/11 was done in three months. Nobody really arrested. Not even sure about Al-Qaida.

You mean like the 5000 Benghazi investigations, or the craziness about Hillary's emails ?

That also good example.
