Grass could be a cover to own sheep, if one is into that kind of pleasure.
Otherwise a lawn is useless.

Too fucking lazy to use a push reel mover!!
It's cheaper than a gym membership!

Yeah, Hummies, stop mowing your lawn. Must spread pestilence!

Now, I agree having, watering, and mowing lawns is F'ing stupid in Arid areas like California and Arizona. A mix of gardens, pines and pine needles, low water cover crops, etc. is more interesting and easier to maintain.

Many Real Whores and Developers fight a war for dumbass Grass lawns, as if everybody owns a little Vanderbilt Estate like that Fay on CNN.

But east of the Mississippi it's a public health danger not too if you have grass.

Grass is a deeper Carbon Sink than forests, since grass is continually growing and mulches rapidly back into the soil.

Have 20+ small fruit trees I keep below 8' that are setup to give fruit almost year round and tons of herbs, veggies, berries. Never used pesticide and have reel mower. Will take grass out at some point down to about 2000sqf left of it. Slowly seeing neighbors xeriscape front yards, grass is such a waste in CA. Also a little bit of clovers are good for yard they are nitrogen fixers and after mowing them down they feed the grass.

I would have guessed that I was the only person here actually using a push reel mower.

On my block I have only seen one other guy using one, not sure why they are not more popular its almost maintenance free and takes up a smaller footprint.
