Apparently Wendy's is more responsible than half the adults in the United States, a fact that is both encouraging and sad.

I ate at Wendy's today to support them.

I have two thoughts, if they want to get my lunch time business a few times a week.

1)Bring back Dave Thomas freshness. Those buns are tired, and that frozen patty is not what made Dave Thomas rich. His burgers were hot and juicy because they were fresh patties that were stamped fresh every morning before opening in the back using a burger press. I worked for Wendy's back in the 80's. Everything was fresh. His whole menu was designed to maximize freshness and reduce waste. He had a Breakfast menu with Omelets(remember those) that utilized the Salad Bar Cheese and Diced Ham and other Salad Bar offerings. He had a Salad Bar the only fast food joint doing it at the time. His Chicken breasts were fresh chix breasts brought in every morning. You soaked them in butter milk and then dredged them. And fried them in a Kentucky Fried Chicken pressure fryer for 3 minutes. Still to this day there has never been a better Chicken breast sandwich.
They need to return to Dave's tried and true Formula for running his franchises. Even they charged more for it. It would be well worth it. You can't buy a Gyro and Fries at the Greek place for less than $12.00. But at least it's fresh.

2) Pay your help more than you are. I'm sick of seeing Ghetto min wage part time workers. That are only working to meet the min requirement to keep their Welfare and public housing benefits. These hair weave wearing, dread lock moping, pants sagging, sorry asses. Make them clean up their act, pay them more and give full time work. So your workers at least can represent Wendy's with some pride. I wouldn't eat at 90% of the Wendy's regardless how fresh they make their food. The appearance of their work force is gross. The last time before this time. I saw this fat lady with hair weaves that ran down to her fat ass. She would sashay around the back near the fry and burger station with her discussing weave Mop mopping along the prep counter. That was over two years ago. I swore I would never go back. I was shocked to see they still have the same appearance.

I am NOT being prejudice here. Every business that I go to that has a noticeable increase in Black workers. I am delighted the caliber of people have gone up. Or there is enough wage being paid to give those employees a sense of work pride and they are presentable for the company they represent. McDonald's their counter workers look no different than the Managers and they are most usually on point. Other companies are not dredging the bottom of the barrel for Black help, they are hiring presentable people.

Even the company I work for has hired a lot of people in very visible places. The other day I saw a White Hipster with Dreds and a Hoodie and baggy pants with a 2 foot wide bell bottoms in HR applying for a Job. He looked like a totally fucking Knob. Of course he didn't get the job. I just couldn't believe he would show up at an interview looking like that.

I hear Wendy's is hiring.

In n Out has always paid over minimum wage, and they do seem to attract better help.
