#russiaI gave great thought to Putin and his interference in the 2016 US elections. Some claim that his help to Trump "tipped the scales" and made Trump president. In any event, Putin invested a lot of time and money in this project. He wanted a better deal with sanctions and he had a pathological hatred for Hillary Clinton. What did Putin get for his big investment? He got more sanctions. He got access to Western capital blocked and technology blocked. He got a bad image in the world. I have a dear friend who lives in Moscow. Before all the sanctions she had an incredible high-paying job in the Russian technology industry. After the sanctions, she struggles to survive in a mediocre job paying low wages. Many Russians will tell you the same story.

Russia used to be the hated and feared Soviet Union that wanted to take over the world. Russia still has a large land mass and 170,000,000 people. It is armed with very sophisticated nuclear weapons and other armaments. Yet if we look at Gross Domestic Product, its economy is about the size of Italy's. California and Brasil have richer economies. Russia's population is dropping. The country does not attract new immigrants like the US, Europe, Brasil and Chile do. Putin has not made Russia great again.

All what, a six figure sum? Even the Russians can come up with a few million still if they need to. Nothing to make up for the hundreds of millions raised and spent by the Hillary Campaign beyond Trump's spending.

Yep, Russia has a lot of problems. But this assertion is the reverse of true, it's the #2/3 destination for immigrants in the World, roughly tied with Germany. Most immigrants to Russia come from the ex-USSR 'stans.

Russia is on the same hemisphere with the Yukon, Greenland and Alaska.
It's not a Country people in temperate climates dream about moving to.

I think Russia is pretty damn great, considering where they are. Those Territories on this side of the Globe in that hemisphere are nowhere near as great or a Power.
Most of the Canuks all live south of Maine's northern tip. Imagine a line drawn on Canada from Maine straight across, and another Country was up there. Now imagine that country being a Super Power, spite having limited Natural Resources.

Nope, they are fuckers worse that ayatollahs. They are still worshiping second greatest mass murderer in 20th century Stalin, the corruption in Russia is on level seen only in African countries (Russians themselves call Russia "a snowy Nigeria"), educated Russians have escaped to US and West Europe and economy of Russia is based on selling off its assets to West and Chinese (again, Russians call their country "gas station for rest of the world"), and rich Russians who bash West keep their money in that decadent West and their kids go to school and live in West as well.
No one with any reasonable knowledge of Russia can say that they are in any way great currently. I have visited that country enough and living there is a cruel and unusual punishment.

I saw numbers in hundreds of thousands $ spent by Russians which can not compare with BILLIONS spent on election by tRUMP and Ms Cankles. Again, both so-called libruls and conservatives do not understand why Russians spent this money. It was not to influence elections (or may be that was a distant second thought). It was to seamlessly transfer money from Russian state to private hands...e.i. to steal. Scheme is simple: get $100M from Russian state to influence US elections, and then use $300K to do that while pocketing the rest...

Per capita? Too lazy to look up the numbers, but bigger numbers overall look more impressive (or sick in this case) but the worst of the worst kill more people per 100k. It's been awhile since I've looked at this stuff, but I imagine Russia/SovietU might take the cake per capita albeit with less total deaths.

Who gives a shit. Rapefugees are rattling at the gates of pretty much any bordering country in the Western Hemisphere and the US, keep swarming in in what can only be called a full-on invasion, and the leftoids are fantasizing about Russia, distracting from the fact that they are the ones betraying their own countries with their open borders bullshit. Putin here, Putin there, Russiagate, reeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Let's start cleaning up the shit/feces and start removing illegals in San Francisco and other "sanctuary" (= prospective shithole) cities and start solving the problems in front of our own door step and let Russia deal with their own. Haven't been in Russia lately, but SF, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver cannot be far behind, the stench in many hoods has become unbearable.

Russia was never a great place to live.

That would be Pol Pot of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, roughly 2M massacred in a country of 7M, between 1975 and 1979, which clearly blows away the per capita of either the USSR or the PRC.

But yes, the common denominator is communism.

Yep, "again" in the OP is a misnomer.
