TJ Helmstetter, a former associate communications director for the DNC, got tossed from a Washington, D.C., restaurant on the 4th of July after “standing up to a Nazi.”

Of course, considering Helmstetter, who calls himself a “progressive communicator,” is a full-on Kool-Aid drinker, that can mean only one thing.

A Trump supporter.

“Just got thrown out of Hill Country DC for standing up to a Nazi. Don’t go there ever again. They support Trump and Nazis,” the left-wing zealot tweeted.

He describes his encounter on Twitter:

“Guy wears MAGA hat at my favorite restaurant. I say ‘hey are you from dc?’ He says ‘no.’ I say ‘we don’t tolerate racism in this city,'” Helmstetter tweeted in his response. “His girlfriend then physically jabs fingers into my chest and starts threatening me. Management tells me to leave, not woman who assaulted me.”

Helmstetter tried to justify his unhinged actions by saying he has a right to tell Trump supporters that they “are racist pieces of shit.” He called his harassment “robust speech.”

“Just called the manager there and his answer was “we are an equal opportunity restaurant who welcomes all political viewpoints” before hanging up on me,” he said. “cool, except MAGA hats actually make clear that POC and LGBT are not welcome at all.”
