Coming to theaters near you in September. It’s for real.

Those liberal assholes aren’t getting my guns. Now that I see what they want to do.

Who gives a damn. The more delusional they can make themselves about how it will be the better.

BTW what "Republican" references were there in their trailer.

They were called “deplorables”, few other similar references too that are well known.

I see. Well then, my first comment stands. Actually, more movies like this should be made. Featuring superpowers etc. "Wax-my-balls Dilator, go! go! go!"

This shit only helps Trump.

The Left really can't Meme.

I think the intent of the movie was meant to trigger the right, about another female dominated role. Where she shoots up Trump supporters. They were just tone deaf on the Elitists hunting squad.

This only helps Trump indeed. I really look forward to the attack ads in the general election.

Currently, 40% of Republicans are armed. This must change!

We need it to be 100%.

I proposed this libretto years and years ago on PatNet and there was no political dimension. It was all about an assumption of the penultimate phase of completely unregulated capitalism (which is what God really wants) in which a handful of families controlled all wealth and had become so debauched that all they had to do all day was fly around in private helicopters and shoot at the losers (exactly as the Founding Fathers commanded, etc.).

Are we anywhere in the credits?

For the international markets they're re-titling it Globalists vs. Nationalists: The Movie. They even got Hilary to star in it.

From the OP link:
"“The Hunt” is billed as a satire that follows wealthy thrill-seekers taking a private jet to a five-star resort where they embark on a “deeply rewarding” expedition that involves hunting down and killing designated humans."

It's been done.

It's also not unlike the premise of The Hunger Games. Also don't forget The Running Man, wherein a lower caste man desperately enters a hunt to the death. When he actually unexpectedly wins, they reveal on the flight back to the headquarters city that his wife and daughter were murdered shortly after he began the game. In the climactic scene (in the book at least) he kills his handlers, hijacks the jet, and flies it into the TV network headquarters skyscraper that ran the games. "It rained fire for six blocks."

In this 1974 classic as well--this is the best part, where they get their comeuppance:

The Hunt made some executives at Universal skittish back in May 2018, when film chief Donna Langley acquired the script and fast-tracked it at a modest $18 million budget

What a happy ending. Alky actor William Holden died in Santa Monica later clunking his head on a coffee table after dousing a big bottle of vodka.

Maybe Arny should make a sequel to "The Running Man" called "The Running Republican, MAGA".

I remember reading about that, he was badly decomposed he'd been dead so long. I guess that craggy countenance came to a bad end?

Libbies won't pull triggers until they have laws in place for reparations for their proposed victims and offspring for generations to come ad nauseam...
Nothing to fear here...move on.

I heard the release of the movie was terminated. At least it wasn't going to be a sequel.

All Marketing stopped, release indefinitely "postponed"
