Agreed but they are also intermixed to some extent, culture influences race and vice versa.

Race is not nothing. It does influence culture, and I think that's genetic.

But on the other hand, you can't simply classify people by race and know exactly how they will behave. It's just a set of bell curves. All you get is probabilities of behaviors.
