Few races are as convoluted as the one in North Carolina’s Ninth Congressional District, which is — 10 months after Election Day 2018 — the last vote of the midterm elections. Experts see the race between State Senator Dan Bishop, a Republican, and the entrepreneur Dan McCready, a Democrat, as a test of President Trump’s clout in suburban areas.

Including screenshot in case of MSM backtracking after the probable loss tonight.

Looking forward to the NYT analysis tomorrow showing this "Demonstrates Trump is strong in suburbia."

Here comes the twist:
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Conservative Republican Dan Bishop won a special election Tuesday for an open House seat in North Carolina, averting a demoralizing Democratic capture of a district the GOP has held for nearly six decades. But his narrow victory didn’t erase questions about whether President Donald Trump and his party’s congressional candidates face troubling headwinds approaching 2020.

Compare to before the rally, from AP:

President Donald Trump’s rally in North Carolina will serve as a measure of his clout in trying to elect a Republican to the House in a closely watched special election that’s seen as a tossup race.

So, a "Tossup Race" that was a "Measure of his (Trump's) clout in trying to elect a Republican... in a closely watched election..." was pulled off successfully, but still the AP casts shadow on it.

Very Fake News.

Now of course, if it had gone the other way and the Democrat won, even if just by 2 tenths of 1% : "Trump's economic and Hurricane (sic) troubles started to punish the Republicans as a seat that had been GOP since 1963 turned to the Democrats. We won't say this is the trailing effect of an off-year election, but instead pontificate that this is a sign Trump and the GOP are losing suburban voters..."

lol tuned into NPR while driving they called it "narrow defeat" and Demfuck was able to "mobilize a lot of middle voters but in the end it was not enough". lol nice spin. Next was a story about how Trump controls the NOAA and an interview with a "concerned scientist" screeching "ORANGE MAN BAAAAAAAD! reeeeeeeeeeeee!". Fuck NPR.

Did NPR remind the audience that if this was a test of the President's ability to help the GOP keep seats... he did really well? Or that the Dems spent more than the GOP to flip the seat? Nah, of course not.
