He did not achieve much. He will be a below average President.

We'll see. I don't think Obama will be blamed for the economy. He had nothing to do with the financial crash that preceded his era, nor the liquidity trap or the other biggest impediments to better economic growth.

Fighting terrorism F ? Based on what ? I believe our global position improved dramatically under Obama. COmpare what the typical European thought of America before Obama to after he became our leader. Now we are the laughing stock (and terror) of the world.

Right wing economists are quick to point to uncertainty as a reason for the economy not doing better (supposedly the result of too much regulation).

If uncertainty is an major impediment to economic well being, then I would have to believe the economy under Trump will be the worst one ever.

I'm not blaming him for the crash. In fact i give him credit for preventing a depression. The economic recovery has been pathetic.

Are you kidding me? He let ISIS rise before his very eyes. Look at what they did to Iraq and Syria? Look what they did to the Yazidi women.
A man who does not call this Islamic terror is not capable of fighting Islamic terror. You have to identify a problem before you can solve it. And Obama did not identify the problem.
Don't get me wrong. I supported Obama 4 years ago. I screwed up.

$15K more on average for you entry level Green energy car. Maybe a Hybrid. We're no further along with renewable energy than we were 8 years ago. They didn't innovate, they took money to push what we already had.

ha ha ha. 8 years has seen a tremendous reduction in prices.

Your most important issue was oil.

But your most important issue isn't oil today because you can't bitch and cry about Obama in the context of oil. So you pick some other most important issue that enables you to whine and cry like a baby.

As Lenin said........

If it's Obama's circus, it's also Obama's price of oil.

If the price of oil doubles next year, are you going to blame Trump? LOL..........sorry just joking.

We went thought this already you idiot.
Oil is at the price it is at in spite of your best effort, championed by Obama.
If it were up to Obama, you and Texas, Oil would be $300 a barrel.

The last time Oil peaked at $50 to $75 a barrel before crashing back to $30 again.

Gas was $1.25 to $1.50, with occasional less than 99 cents after the crashes.

Gas is totally fucked by Obama and investors. Wait until Trump ends that party. Hello 99 cent gas, you'll see Kid you'll see. You'll All see!

Just to understand your brilliant insight, if the price of oil is high it's all Obama's fault.

If the price of oil is low, HISTORICALLY low, Obama has nothing to do with it.

Pretty amazing that you don't forget to breathe sometimes.

The problem with that is Shithouse economist like Iwog equates that to a $1.00 rise in Gas.
He fails to realize time and time again, that when our Gas reserves runneth over because lack of consumption of Petrol.
Our plastics, and lubricant manufacturing suffers tremendously. As Gasoline is merely a byproduct of refining Oil, not the total sum of the net result of refining.
We run out of places to take delivery. That is when we shed $75% of value overnight. Man made volatility for short term gains. We allow Iwog to fuck in the ass over and over again. Wake up you Idiots.

Obama is responsible for high oil prices and never gets any credit for low oil prices. Yup.

How does it work in cold areas-places where it can get to -20F and windchill of -40-50 F? I have been thinking, but my hybrid actually goes down about 7-9 mph for the winter.

Not experienced driving electric cars in extremely cold weather, but from what i understand, extreme cold diminishes the ability of the battery pack to hold a charge.

Cold weather would seem a poor fit with an EV. First of all, instead of heating the cab and engine with waste heat from the combustion process, you'll have to waste energy generating heat electrically to keep the cab compartment from icing over. Plugging in is something that every cold weather driver understands, but it's not the same as plugging in an EV.
I dont see them being popular in northern latitudes until such issues are addressed.

I'm watching the media, Hollywood stars, and others, kindling that 'inspired blather' in millions of people in the nation right now. Something has caught hold in the majority of the population who voted against Trump. It isn't butt-hurt. It's will to stand up in opposition.

Trump is going to reap some epic karma.

Obama is going to be amazing compared to the inept sandwich he is between:

The economic recovery has been pathetic.

True, it hasn't been what it might have been. But my observation is that that has to do with where interest rates are. For most of the past several decades, the fed could lower interest rates when growth was too slow.

But since the crash we have been in a liquidity trap which has nothing to do with Obama. And yet you blame him for that ?

By the way, the money market and monetary conditions are no different now. So good luck TRump, turning our economy in to the 1960s. Does he really think tarrifs, trade wars and price fixing is the answer ? God I hope somebody slaps him in the face and gets him to realize how ignorant he is.

The key ingredient missing in Obama's economy was confidence. If businesses don't have the confidence, they will not invest no matter how many carrots you dangle in from of them. Trade wars will hurt everyone, but i'm sure they will be avoided.
