Get to work Trump we need new American companies for me to buy from. Samsung will be my go to company until that day.

"Samsung will be my go to company until that day." Good for you ! My Korean friends thank you, my pension thanks you since Samsung is one of our largest customers. I need more people like you to buy Korean especially Samsung - You go boy !

While your on today's rant-a-thon, Trumpligula might be more effective at targeting the automobile parts suppliers over the Automakers themselves but I'll let you ponder that for awhile.

Later and by all means - buy Korean !

Got it. So let me see if I have this straight.

You're going to buy from WalMart, probably the corporation MOST AT FAULT FOR OUR CURRENT SITUATION WITH CHINESE IMPORTS, and contribute to their profits while believing you're making a stand for the little guy.

@TPB, think you could buy a little more LG, Kia and Hyundai as well or just double down on the Samsung? I want to go to Whole Foods later this month and was thinking about lunch at Panera Bread beforehand. Hell, if you buy enough and my stock goes up some more, I may even have enough to do a blast around Nordstrom's.

Here's something else to ponder - if you are really concerned about buying American, try VIZIO since it was founded here, headquartered here and they sell at Wal-Mart but you probably know that last part.

Again - thank you from the bottom of my heart for your Samsung purchases, it's always nice to see someone like yourself helping out my retirement (I never knew you cared so deeply), and what with Ironman covering my digestive tract the future looks swell.

Gotta run - see you later...

LG, Hyundai and Kia sucks.
Although LG does have a nice new 24bit sound with stereo mics that are nice. And Samsung is planning on going all Windows 10 on all of their future Galaxy products, their Tablets already are. I might consider LG Tablets and Phones if they keep innovating and using the Android system.

I might buy an iPhone if they get rid of Tim Cock and make them in America.

Tim - backdoor - Cook took a 15% salary cut this year.

I have been buying American since NAFTA.

Since 1993 I have paid:

~ $3000 more for my US made clothes, shoes (New Balance, etc). Suits from Burberry are not made in US anymore

~ $30K less for my cars (Ford mustang, Jeep Cherokee, Ford Escape)

~ Most of my electronics are from Korea (Samsung) and Taiwan (TSMC). Lastest computer is Chinese.

~ $10000 more for us made appliances (Whirlpool, DACOR), furniture(Flexsteel), kitchen gear, pots/pans, tools.

So I have a net saving of over $20000 for buying american. If the US would drop its penchant for foreign cars, buy clothes, appliances, and some items from the US, we could rectify our trade and deficit without tariffs.

My ford is not as nice as a BMW, but when I go fishing, I can run up against saplings and just dont care. Plus the Ford is much more reliable.

Trump is dead wrong on this, hopefully he comes to his senses on this other wise it might turn into another Smoot Hawley.
