Is it a particularly popular major in college? How come I keep reading about it in the news? Very often, it is a story associated with unemployed/unemployable graduates with crushing debt.

What is the allure? Is the near-inevitable unemployment a form poetic justice?

There are many useful humanities majors, such as Classics and Philosophy. Why would people throw away money to study a recently made up narrative?

It's for man hating victim mentality types who end up joining organizations such as NOW.

Yes...

It's a Lesbian Dating Service.

But popular major? Like Art History, not even 1% of all graduates by major.

Women's Studies majors generally avoid STEM courses like the plague, perferring Muh Sojiny and Rape in Literature WS309, then spend their lives complaining about the lack of women in STEM.

Looks like the gender pay-gap is a self-inflicted wound.

Well said.

WS309? I wonder what WS69 is all about. :-)

You don't want to know. Let's just say it isn't exactly Mila Kuniss and Scarlett Johanson doing the 69. Think "More Natural", "Wild Color Hair" and "More Woman to Love"

Well, the number 69 has the perfect symmetry. So I guess the course is about equal pay regardless of performance.

All there is to know has been published.

All they need is Robert Greene's The Art of Seduction. A very good book IMO.

Tuition is free, you just have to slather the immense hirsute lesbian instructors with vagina juice.

It teaches women how to be more militant, impervious, narcissistic, greedy and emotionally self involved than they already are.

Strategic divorce isn't included unless you are willing to step down to a botoxed Cougar heterosexual instructor.

I supported women engineering groups in college and I probably qualify as a feminist.

True feminism empowers women to be independent. Faux feminism encourages its members to hide behind labels.

I admire women who took the steps to make a mark in human history.

In what way did you support them?

I attend their meetings and field trips.

Why is it that women need to be "empowered" and men don't?

Men too should find empowerment from support groups like PatNet. What do you think I am doing now? :-)

I think most of us older guys that weren't babied as children feel that we were born "empowered".

Nah, one can always use more empowerment.
