What if I told you Mexico is the only country that our southern border physically touches? Of course all of the other central and south americans who illegally imigrate by land would have to pass through the same border that Mexicans that illegaly imigrate had to pass through!

Very interesting, except illegals can't collect federal benefits like welfare food assistance, or education benefits as per the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA). Bill Clinton didn't SUGGEST a crackdown on welfare for illegals, he passed a law forbidding it. They can collect some state benefits, but trump is not in charge of those.

Ron Paul says:
The various taxpayer-funded programs that benefit illegal immigrants in the United States, such as direct financial transfers, medical benefits, food assistance, and education
Wasn't Ron Paul a congressman? He didn't know illegals are barred from any of these programs? Either he was a totally incompetent politico or is deliberately lying through his teeth. That's not a surprise. He's also confused about the 100 billion number. The 100 billion is how much illegals have paid into the social security fund that they will never collect.

More reality TV bread and circus for the masses. Patrick bought it.

Heritage Foundation ?

You have to admire the heritage foundation. One of hundreds of wealthy foundations set up by the ultra rich/libertarians in the 70's and 80's. No one is better a pushing out very official looking conservative/libertarian bullshit than heritage. Let's look at the article.

The Title, it says we are going to see the costs. It doesn't say the theoretical costs:
"The Fiscal Cost of Unlawful Immigrants and Amnesty to the U.S. Taxpayer"

The first paragraph, note the word can slipped in but not obvious:
Unlawful immigration and amnesty for current unlawful immigrants can pose large fiscal costs for U.S. taxpayers. Government provides four types of benefits and services that are relevant to this issue:

Buried deep in the article, note that they left out food stamps/snap:
unlawful immigrants at present do not have access to means-tested welfare, Social Security, or Medicare.

Nice, great job. Propaganda done up by world class experts. Note they left out the answer to the question, or even brought up the question, of how a group that doesn't have access to federal funds can have a "Fiscal Cost of Unlawful Immigrants and Amnesty to the U.S. Taxpayer".

Oh Bullshit Bobby....

Children in unlawful immigrant households receive heavily subsidized public education. Many unlawful immigrants have U.S.-born children; these children are currently eligible for the full range of government welfare and medical benefits.

Children born in the US are US citizens. They are not illegals. They are entitled to benefits. Don't like it get the law changed. Oh I forgot you don't have a clue what the law is.

Families of illegals? As in including the kids born here who US citizens and are totally entitled to their benefits. Police, fire, highways and parks as benefits to illegals? Really? What a load of crap. Perfect for a non thinker like you.

Back in your court. Where are the federal benefits paid to illegals?

9   HEY YOU   2017 Feb 1, 10:25am

Executing any Republican that has ever paid an illegal or ever used a company that used illegal is a good start.
Surely this would slow down Republican hatred of the american worker.

Police, fire, highways and parks as benefits to illegals?

Yes, not a single illegal uses any municipal or federally provided services, support or infrastructure. Thanks for proving to everyone again how big of an idiot you are.

Why did you pass over this fact?

Perfect, dufus dipshit strikes again. An illegal family that uses a highway is the same as

taxpayer-funded programs that benefit illegal immigrants in the United States, such as direct financial transfers, medical benefits, food assistance, and education,

Try to stay up with the adults. It's hard, but try. Do you suppose that illegals pay taxes on their gas the same as everyone else to fund the highways? Pay real estate taxes for schools and municipal expenses when they pay their rent? Duh.

Ironman says

In 2010, the average unlawful immigrant household received around $24,721 in government benefits and services while paying some $10,334 in taxes. This generated an average annual fiscal deficit (benefits received minus taxes paid) of around $14,387 per household. This cost had to be borne by U.S. taxpayers.

No bullshit to spew about that fact??

There is no fact there. It's a bunch of totally unrelated numbers thrown together. Since you are mathematically illiterate there is absolutely no point in me trying to explain the huge gaping holes in the methodology.

Who do they live with?

Irrelevant. They could be adopted or in an orphanage, they are still citizens the same as you.

Illegal aliens across America are ... filing tax returns with an IRS “ITIN” number, and listing children as dependents who live in MEXICO — or who do not even exist at all.

This fraud is costing taxpayers an insane $4.2 BILLION every year. ...

People are ignorant as hell to think that the wall could possibly deliver the desired effects.

If people want to enter the country illegally through the southern border, they still will just the same. It will just make it more expensive, and dangerous. Which is fuel to the Black Market fire.

The wall could wind up making drug crimes worse. Attempting to restrict supply while doing nothing to address demand is a recipe for higher prices, which always make for more incentives to get the drugs here.

Simple market forces here, people.

Translation: I can't dispute the fact that the federal benefits that go to these children aren't also used by the illegal parents

: Fuck, I can't believe how much these illegals siphon off the system. Ironman made me look like a blubbering idiot.... again...

Translation, I made two stupid statements and now think that means I have an imaginary "victory" to go with my imaginary bovine lovers. The only blubbering is you trying to make your idiocy match up to the original point of the post.

How would you propose we "address demand" for cocaine, heroine and meth?

carrieon says

100 billion/yr, annual cost to support illegal immigrants

40 billion, one time cost to build wall

Cost to stop paying illegals welfare benefits: $0
Cost to stop paying illegals all benefits: $0
Cost to stop schooling illegals: $0
Cost to prosecute employers who hire under the table: A lot less than 40 billion. And that's how much we'd save if we implemented all of the above.

No wall, come on in! But when you get here no work, no handouts, no medical care, and no education.

Seriously!? Umm, just let free markets work it out naturally. You know, like they do for ever other product people voluntarily put into their own bodies...
