I'm thinking the overall picture though. Liberals are god awful with finances. Like full retard. Giving out unrealistic pensions and other shit to "buy" voters through employment and the union marketing piece to their members. Looting and rioting are just one piece to the puzzle. A city like Naperville, IL is run by what normally would have been Democrats, but theoretically are more right leaning now. Clean, good budget, etc. And of course no looting or rioting.

And I'm sure the cities you mention, and you did, are "OK." Naperville is a great small city. I'd never live there though, because it's a keeping up with the Jones' type city where you overpay for housing bigly. If there is a Democrat mayor and majority city council (worse if they're rubber stampers) then 10 out of 10 times the city has huge problems. Finance, crime, corruption, etc.

(Bias note as a Sox fan) Wrigley Field sucks. Food sucks. After the updates around the park it feels like Naperville and not a Chicago neighborhood.

Not this year, but I generally go to a game or two a year. It's an awful ballpark logistically. It's also a frat party and this is coming from a guy that likes to drink and party still when I can. You'll be severely disappointed with Wrigley if you don't like to get fucked up. It's a semi homo frat house, with shitty service, no parking, currently bad baseball team and poorly laid out ballpark. You're not missing out on much if you don't go to Wrigley.

I can concur with you via my experience. Latinos hide it fairly well, but if you really get to know them, the racism against blacks comes out. Democrats are idiots to treat them as a group with blacks as some sort of POC PAC.

Don't go at night, but the South side in many places isn't as bad as perceived. And yes, I've gone at night. One of the more dangerous neighborhood, South Shore is actually pretty amazing. Rock solid beautiful buildings. Borders Lake Michigan with some good beaches. Golf course. Good food.

There's just no family. No structure. Any structure there is pastors and religious people taking money from other blacks. The small churches in Chicago are leeches. Most are laundering money for gang bangers. I've been in a bunch that had been for sale. Regardless of the neighborhood I wouldn't let my kids go in the damn building. Should be torn down, yet they're holding "church services" supposedly and have a non-profit exemption. If anyone thinks Joel Osteen is a cunt, there are hundreds of these places on the South and West sides doing the same con job in the name of religion.
