They blurred too much. Need to see the other cops body cam too.

What this guy did with his gun and hands after he started going low towards the ground matters very much.

But to me it looks like he didnt know cops were knocking at the door, so he stepped out with his gun, then realized it was cops, and tried to put the gun down.

Victim is white, so no riots will follow.

This was murder - pure and simple. BLM has politicized and made police aggression a racial issue when this is an issue about an overreach of a police power that has become more and more militarized and extreme. I wonder if BLM is actually a front for police unions (okay, not really, but it is convenient that BLM makes such extreme claims and desires that force the rest of us to recoil and not see that the police are abusing their powers).

Sad. The whole thing is sad.

And, yeah, white dude was screwed. If he had been black, he would probably be alive.

I Still cant see what this guy did with his gun, but it kinda looks like he had his gun arm towards the house, which is IMO the right thing to do - moving it towards the cops would be justification for them to shoot, and moving it towards the house is about the best thing he could have done. This looks like the cop screwed up to me. He seemed to fire as soon as he got his gun aimed.

Unfortunate scenario and context. I agree w/ the video in that the cop correctly should have thought "I need to shoot this guy" as he stepped out, and he carried through with it, instead of processing the new information by seeing that the guy was actually surrendering in those last few hundred milliseconds. I kinda think he should have withheld his shots at that point because he seemed to have the reaction time advantage - the guy would need to bring his arm around to aim+fire, while all the cop would need to so is pull the trigger. Plus, he looked submissive. But this is a close call, and maybe this is a typical reaction time for a high stress situation like this.
