Dr. Fauci Backed Controversial Wuhan Lab with U.S. Dollars for Risky Coronavirus Research
BY FRED GUTERL ON 4/28/20 AT 2:57 PM EDT

National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses. ...

A decade ago, during a controversy over gain-of-function research on bird-flu viruses, Dr. Fauci played an important role in promoting the work. He argued that the research was worth the risk it entailed because it enables scientists to make preparations, such as investigating possible anti-viral medications, that could be useful if and when a pandemic occurred.

It would also enable profiteers to create a virus and a vaccine for it at the same time.

A group of international researchers are pushing for a “proper investigation” into the origins of COVID-19, including examining the lab accident theory that a World Health Organization (WHO) probe previously dismissed.

The WHO-led mission in Wuhan, which released its findings in late March, did not give “balanced consideration” to the theory that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus came from a laboratory accident, rather giving more weight to the natural spillover hypothesis—the event that the virus spread to humans through an animal host, the scientists argued in a letter published May 14 in Science, a peer-reviewed academic journal.

The letter was signed by 18 medical experts who specialize in virology, biology, immunology, and epidemiology.

The WHO team assessed the animal origin theory as “likely to very likely” and the other as “extremely unlikely,” despite having “no findings in clear support of either,” they wrote, noting that of 313 pages total, the report only dedicated four pages to addressing a possible lab accident.

“We must take hypotheses about both natural and laboratory spillovers seriously until we have sufficient data,” the authors said. “A proper investigation should be transparent, objective, data-driven … and responsibly managed to minimize the impact of conflicts of interest.”

In just one or two news cycles, we went from "MAYBE July 4th the vaccinated can be maskless outdoors with lots of social distancing with your family for a BBQ."

to

"COVID's Over. Vaccinated don't need to wear masks"

How Team Biden ended COVID Mania overnight
Due to several crises, they flipped the switch on the Safety Regime.

How was the Biden Administration able to flip the switch on COVID Mania and turn off the Safety Regime virtually overnight, after 15 months of a ruthless propaganda and fear campaign claiming that America was in the midst of a perpetual pandemic of endless death and destruction? Luckily for Team Biden, the current White House are beneficiaries of Democrat, or D.C. insider privilege. And because they are part of the insider’s club, they have the ability to control and manipulate the power centers in D.C. at a moment’s notice. To make sense of this rapid, perplexing change of events, you have to understand how our institutions in Washington, D.C. actually work.

It’s understandable for the average American citizen to have a difficult time grasping how the CDC and other Government Health institutions have gone from projecting a “sense of impending doom” to “your health is in your hands” in a matter of days.

Your health is in your hands. If you are unvaccinated, please get vaccinated as soon as you can to decrease your risk to #COVID19. If you choose not to be vaccinated, continue to wear a mask and practice all mitigation strategies to protect yourself from the virus.

Understanding the real formatting of the D.C. beltway means being familiar with the de facto power structure in Washington, and being able to identify the people who are actually in charge. Contrary to what is being reported in the press, political appointees like CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and her colleagues on the same hierarchical level are not in fact in charge of much at all. Sure, Dr. Walensky may have a powerful, respected title and some lofty credentials, but that doesn’t mean she has the independent authority to make executive-level decisions. She and her colleagues were appointed to these positions with the understanding that they would dutifully take orders from the White House, no questions asked. Dr. Walensky and others in Government Health were vetted prior to their appointments to make sure that they would be loyal to the real power structure in D.C. The powerful individuals in town are policy officials who work directly with the White House, and not at CDC headquarters in Atlanta. Had she publicly dissented from the White House talking points, Walensky would be sent packing the next day. She and her colleagues choose to partake in this system because embracing its practices offers tremendous upside and prestige to their careers.

Now, the somewhat level-headed individuals in the Biden Administration have been seeking a way out of COVID Mania for quite some time. While the power grabs related to “the pandemic” have helped the people in charge accumulate power (particularly maniacal state governors) and install an authoritarian Safety Regime, the pandemic policies have also manifested several crises. The Biden Administration is dealing with countless domestic and international upheavals, in addition to a sinking economy, among many other impending bubbles and catastrophes. They needed a way out as soon as humanly possible. COVID Mania had so many residual effects that it began to threaten the integrity of the entire system. They needed an exit strategy, so they simply asserted their insider privilege, moved the political appointees and the federal bureaucracy into order, and switched off COVID Mania like it was no big deal.

Could Donald Trump have pulled this off in the same way? I’m not so sure. It’s important to understand how Washington works when someone who threatens the administrative state comes into town, as opposed to someone who is supported by the federal bureaucracy.

The federal bureaucracy is overwhelmingly liberal and conformist when it comes to supporting the power centers in Washington. In the 2016 elections, 95 percent of political donations went to Hillary Clinton, who, like Joe Biden, is very much the ultimate D.C. insider.

When an insider White House like the Biden Administration is in charge of the executive branch, the civil service acts in solidarity with the administration. They rightly do not perceive the Biden Administration as a threat to The System. When an outsider like Donald Trump comes into town, the civil service makes it their mission to make the outsider’s job as difficult as possible. From 2016-2020, we saw the extremes of this phenomenon on display, as the federal bureaucracy made it their mission to not only undermine the president, but to attempt to remove him from office by any means possible.

If a term two Trump Administration had decided to make this sudden move, it would almost have certainly been met with complete outrage, a federal bureaucracy in complete revolt, mass resignations, the corporate press accusing the president of committing mass murder, and woke corporations perhaps making mask and vaccine requirements even more stringent upon entry.

Would Trump have been able to eventually curb Anthony Fauci’s daily adversarial TV appearances? That remains unclear. Yet observe how expeditiously the Biden Administration has been able to tame the rabid animal in the spotlight-seeking Fauci, who has fallen in line with the talking points regarding masks and school openings. Make no mistake, a dissenting Fauci will be thrown under the bus multiple times if he acts out of line, and the political scientist in the NIAID chief is careful not to overstep his portfolio.

LOL! The Great Vaccine Conspiracy by Fauci, Gates, Globalists et alia. couldn't be perpetrated without the Covid vector. Fauci developed it at Wuhan, because he couldn't legally do it in the United States. It was all planned, a prescription virus for a prescription plot against the people.

I heard Gates already has had sterilization 'vaccines' since before 2010, and used (experimented) them on African populations as part of his 'philanthropy'. The female recipients were barren, so they worked.

A flu virus risk worth taking
By Anthony S. Fauci, ,
Gary J. Nabel and
Francis S. Collins
December 30, 2011
Anthony Fauci is director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Gary Nabel is director of the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Francis Collins is director of the National Institutes of Health.

A deadly influenza virus has circulated widely in birds in recent years, decimating flocks but rarely spreading to humans. Nonetheless, because of its persistence in bird flocks, this highly pathogenic avian influenza virus has loomed as a major public health threat. Seasonal influenza kills less than 1 percent of the people it infects. In contrast, human infections with H5N1, though exceedingly rare, are fatal in more than half of cases. Should this virus mutate in a way that allows it to be transmitted as efficiently among people as seasonal influenza viruses are, it could take an unprecedented toll on human life.

A number of important scientific and public health questions regarding this virus remain unanswered, including the likelihood of such mutations arising and the mechanisms by which they may occur. Two recent studies co-funded by the National Institutes of Health have shed light on how this potentially grave human health threat could become a reality. Working carefully with influenza viruses they have engineered in isolated biocontainment laboratories, scientists in Europe and the United States have identified several mechanisms by which the virus might evolve to transmit efficiently in the ferret, the best animal model for human influenza infection. This research has allowed identification of genetic pathways by which such a virus could better adapt to transmission among people. This laboratory virus does not exist in nature. There is, however, considerable concern that such a virus could evolve naturally. We cannot predict whether it or something similar will arise naturally, nor when or where it might appear.

Given these uncertainties, important information and insights can come from generating a potentially dangerous virus in the laboratory. While the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention provide excellent public health surveillance for novel influenza strains, influenza outbreaks still occur suddenly and in unexpected places. The recent H1N1 pandemic exemplifies the problem: In 2009, a new influenza virus emerged. It was shown to have originated from an animal reservoir, and it spread so rapidly that it strained the pharmaceutical industry’s capacity to prepare vaccines fast enough to blunt its spread. We do not fully understand the underlying factors that allow influenza viruses to be transmitted efficiently in humans after they emerge from different species. The ferret transmission studies were intended in part to fill these important gaps in knowledge.

Understanding the biology of influenza virus transmission has implications for outbreak prediction, prevention and treatment. In defining the mutations required for mammalian transmission, public health officials are provided with genetic signatures that, like fingerprints, could help scientists more readily identify newly emergent, potentially harmful viruses, track their spread and detect threatening outbreaks. The ability to identify such viruses even a few months faster than by conventional surveillance provides critical time to slow or stop an outbreak. For example, the CDC implements public health protective measures and stockpiles antiviral drugs. Identifying threatening viruses can also facilitate the early stages of manufacturing vaccines that protect against such a virus in advance of an outbreak.

In addition, determining the molecular Achilles’ heel of these viruses can allow scientists to identify novel antiviral drug targets that could be used to prevent infection in those at risk or to better treat those who become infected. Decades of experience tells us that disseminating information gained through biomedical research to legitimate scientists and health officials provides a critical foundation for generating appropriate countermeasures and, ultimately, protecting the public health.

The question is whether benefits of such research outweigh risks. The answer is not simple. A highly pathogenic bird flu virus transmissible in humans could arise in ways not predicted by laboratory studies. And it is not clear whether this laboratory virus would behave in humans as it does in ferrets. Nonetheless, new data provide valuable insights that can inform influenza preparedness and help delineate the principles of virus transmission between species.

Along with support for this research comes a responsibility to ensure that the information is used for good. Safeguarding against the potential accidental release or deliberate misuse of laboratory pathogens is imperative. The engineered viruses developed in the ferret experiments are maintained in high-security laboratories. The scientists, journal editors and funding agencies involved are working together to ensure that access to specific information that could be used to create dangerous pathogens is limited to those with an established and legitimate need to know.
