You still can. That's been a huge misconception about all of this. You might have to take a test, but just do the self administered one and wipe it on your balls. Also if you're a beach/water guy PR and USVI's are open. Mexico was easy during the late fall covid peak last winter (if you trust the numbers). Costa Rica is back open I know as some friends are down there now and same thing, go to a CVS and stick the test swab in your pants. The $15/hr pharmacist assistant gives zero shits. Also, remember that most of these countries the people at the airport are paid shit, so they're not going to be stringent.

I know some countries want you vaccinated, but don't go to them. Their loss. Most just want a negative test. Most of the world is open, but the media and big pharma want you to get vaccinated for some reason. Just keep holding out and eventually it will die down. Once this "Delta variant" doesn't kill anyone, more and more people will realize this was bull shit.

As long as there are no covid vax passports domestically (territories included), I could live a completely happy life. Mexico won't adopt a vax passport and whatever about Canada. We have almost all the climates and terrain of the world when you include territories. Besides Mexico (overly bashed), if I didn't leave US soil the rest of my life I'd be happy. Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia would be my only ones I'd be pissed if they vax passported foreigners. I have zero interest in Europe.

Anyone know how hard it is at the moment to travel to Austria and Italy? Thinking of going there with the wife since she has never been to Vienna or Venice.

If I'm supposed to wear a mask on such a long flight, then no, fuck it. But if I can fly without a mask or getting the jab, then OK.

Yup. The testing is as simple as a $25 Walgreens 6 pack of tests that you can do remotely for your international flight. Travel is open, just gotta do it.

We're planning on leaving for a few months this winter and hitting Costa Rica and Mexico - neither of which require a test - test is only needed to get back in the US.

Security people have nothing to do with covid tests in the US. If you don't check a bag all you have to do is scan the ticket domestically. The gate agent isn't going to ask for a CDC vaccination card.

International, sure or maybe, present passport and that's it. Maybe a CDC card I guess. No one on the other end of the flight is going to verify. No one on the front end is going to verify. Has nothing to do with Trump or Biden. Has to do with humans being lazy and not giving a flying fuck about a cold. Covid is over and it has nothing to do with who is POTUS. This is simply a power grab and control.
