Jason Aldean is also a top country hit maker and has been so for about 15 years. He is heavily played on country radio and has a more rock tinged sound. He is one of today’s biggest country stars and still has hit songs with each new album. His tickets on this tour are way more expensive than in the past…around 40-50% more than about 6 years ago.
He has long kept quiet on politics, albeit while having very conservative themes in some of his song(Amarillo Sky probably being the most so as God and family are prominent in the song). Recently that has changed, first with his wife publicly taking VP Harris to task for cavalier comments about the Memorial Day holiday, and then being photographer with a “I voted for Trump, Don’t blame me” sign.
His seat layout for a concert at the same venue during the same month(it will sell out and aftermarket pit tickets are going for $500+)

In case you think it’s a one off thing, Lady A’s ticket sales are so anemic I’m surprised they haven’t cancelled the tour. For instance, seats available in NY:
One massive change is that ticket prices have gone way up. Most people think it’s bands and performers that set pricing, but it’s not. It’s the promoters and there’s a lot of money they need to make up.
Lady A used to be known as Lady Antebellum but in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, they decided they needed to scrub the word evoking the south’s post Civil War period(and thereby fucking with a black singer who already went by Lady A, but that’s ancillary to the point I’m making here). Lady Antebellum is a pop country group that has some of the biggest country hits of the past 12 years or so. They’ve sold a ton of records, their music is on constant rotation on country and adult contemporary radio, and until 2020 they were a pretty big concert draw. Their last concert a few years ago at Five Point Ampitheatre sold out.
This is the seating chart for their upcoming concert in September. Keep in mind that their audience is overwhelmingly female and usually country audiences lean conservative. So it’s mostly conservative women that are electing to stay home. The red seats are those for resale. Tickets went on sale a few months ago. The blue seats are whats still available at face value.
