It's part of the "big lie" - NOBODY could be that evil, and if they were, SOMEBODY would expose it. This is what most people believe, are programmed to believe.

People don't understand our press is propaganda, and what is promoted as leaders are sociopaths. They simply can't believe it.

It's why people still believe that George W. Bush didn't lie us into a war in Iraq. It's why they believe that Obama was actually trying to stop a "humanitarian crisis" in Libya. It's why people believe that Assad was gassing his own people and it wasn't just cover to start a new war. It's why they believe 9/11 was a terrorist attack entirely unrelated to our intelligence agencies. It's why they believe there was Russian Collusion.

It's difficult for people to understand that we're ruled by sociopaths, and they are indeed sociopaths. Even when you can demonstrate these people have done horrific things, people can't believe it. It's just an aberration, some sort of error or mistake.

I think it's true that most people can't make that big of a mind shift all at once.

It's just too horrifying, too uncomfortable.

So they retreat in their minds and pretend it can't be true. That makes them feel better, for a little while.

It's not even all at once, it's gradual.

I still contend that when George W. Bush made the case for "pre-emptive war" that was the tipping point. That's when our news media ceased to have any credibility, it's when journalists were actively punished for telling the truth, it's when Julian Assange became the enemy of the state, it was the beginning of when you had to start to get news and information from the underground.

For me it was the Financial Crisis, because during the 2001-2007 period they DID have people like Garofalo or Meathead or Tom Hayden on Network/Cable TV regularly giving the other side, however much shade they gave them.

This is how propaganda works. And it's goddamned effective. NEVER make the mistake you cannot be propagandized. I'm hyper aware of it, and I still fall victim to it. Nobody is immune.

It's difficult to be true to your convictions about an area you're not an expert in. When you disagree, it's because you're admitted "I don't understand how these `experts' come to this conclusion" and the MAJORITY of people's response is "well, that's because you're just too stupid to understand" even when THEY don't understand. They just won't admit it.

You need humility to be able to see reality. When somebody says "you're stupid", respond with "maybe so - explain it to me please", and without any anger with any shouting, make them go through the PAIN of trying to explain it to you, and start pointing out what they don't know. "Well, here's where the NIH funded Wuhan. Here's the patents that Fauci himself have - he stands to make a lot of money on this patent..." The person you're talking with will likely NOT admit error, but they will privately recognize their lack of information. Don't force them to admit error. Be gentle.
