I live in LA County. LA City in particular has onerous restrictions including requiring business to verify customer vaccine status.

It’s dumb and born entirely out of mouth breathing nanny state advocates.

I went to church last night with my near 80 year old parents last night in Orange County. It’s a small church, but it’s cozy, and feels very comfortable. Masks not required, and most were not wearing them. The pastor was in a very good mood, shouted Merry Christmas to start the service and commented on having to hold the service outdoors last year as well as hopeful of things returning back to normal soon. The message I got was that even though the media and left seems to want to silence opposition, as Christians, we should not be silent. There is no reason to hide who we are or be sensitive to those who might be offended by who we are. We ought to be happy, loud, and let others know how we live our life. It was a good service.

After we went to eat dinner at a chain restaurant. There was a sign on the door about state mask mandates, but none of us were wearing masks nor were some of the other customers. No one enforced anything. It was very nice not to be hassled.

It’s not always easy to advocate for who we are. The work place is especially sensitive. I recently got a complaint at the workplace for discussing politics. It’s a bit of an odd complaint since the person I primarily discuss politics with is a Democrat millennial female. We often disagree, but do find common ground. And she’s actually truly open minded. She listens, is happy to learn, and has very good ideas of her own. She’s not a lunatic. For instance she’s held off vacvinating her 12 yo and 8yo daughters in part to make sure there’s no bad side effects. I think ultimately she will decide the vaccine isn’t necessary for children. Furthermore, the vast majority of our discussions are about local issues…crime, homeless, mandates, corrupt local politicians. These are not political issues per se. These are quality of life issues. Three co workers, all female, have been physically assaulted by homeless while walking to or from work in the last year. Anyone who thinks I won’t comment on the lack of government intervention into the homeless population under these conditions can kiss my ass. The mandates, as pointed out, are preposterous with no discernable benefit, multiple local politicians have been charged or convicted over the past five years or so, and the crime issue in LA speaks for itself.

I’m gonna go as far as to say anyone offended or bothered by talk about those four local issues is an asshole themselves.

I really don’t think I’m gonna keep quiet. I can shut it in the workplace in regards to national politics, but I’m not gonna stay silent about quality of life issues that directly impacts my family, neighbors, and co-workers, especially when de facto condoned by corrupt local politicians.

Might not have been her but someone else that overheard. That's happened to me and I was surprised to learn who the guy was who whined about me. I just avoid that shit these days.

They'll bring you down with a vaccine dart rifle pretty soon and key your brain in with 5G as you slowly shrivel and die. Best to go to the mountains into a prepper underground compound with yam gro lites while there's still time.
