Vaxers always want to talk about the cases. Well, so do the antivaxers. Who cares about the cases? Why don't we see straight up data on deaths for vaxed vs unvaxed? Why is there no concentration on those data points? Seems fraudulent.

I think I have omicron cold, son and I running low fever 99.8 both muscle aches. Getting tested for flu and covid right now. Rapid tests that my company gave me came up negative.

Thank GOD that your covid "test" came up negative...what would you have done if it came up Positive?... Isolate? Go into panic mode? Lockdown your house? Get the booster?

It's part at my exemption for work probably take a week off.

What if the vaccine actually worked,

IF it actually worked more people would have to take it. But they aren't. IF the vax actually worked those that took it wouldn't get sick. But they are.

I had a 101 degree fever Sunday, then a sore throat after the fever stopped. Rapid test for Covid today came back negative. I still have a bad sore throat, though.

Prob strep

I got a throat swab today to test for strep - came back negative. Therefore, no antibiotics to cure. I am told the infection is likely viral and I will just have to wait it out.

I don't understand this constant need for testing. I think the scamdemic really brought this problem to the forefront. If you are sick, in almost every case, there is nothing, I repeat NOTHING a doctor can do for you. If you want to get better you rest, don't eat any added sugar(feeds disease), eat non-processed organic foods, and take your supplements, plus extra vitamin C, zinc, and echinacea.

Even better, follow these recommendations the second you start feeling sickness coming on, and it will likely never get a chance to start.

Best of all, do everything except the extra supplements, and get at least 30 minutes of exercise at least 3 days a week, and you will likely never get sick again. Almost every time I've gotten sick in the past 10 years I've been able to trace it back to not following one of the above guidelines. Most common has been stress or lack of sleep.

Right on, bro! I am mostly a vegetarian at home, eat dairy, not a vegan (cheese, no way I can give that up), enjoy a good steak out for sure. Do HIIT on alternate days, 30 and 35 lb hand weights - OH press, curls, reverse curls, shoulder shrugs. Do planks for the belly muscles. Resting HR 52 BPM. Weight dropping. Feel good. T shirt getting tight. I do HIIT at home on an exercycle or elliptical. On the road w/o gymn access, I take a mat and run in place. Also if a road trip, take the hand weights. Get up to 95% and higher of max HR during HIIT. I don't sweat a bad workout. Better than none at all. Knock on wood have not been sick. And I do take a horse pill vitamin supplement every day.

You can eat quite some sugar, preferably natural sources such as honey and fruits, as long as you burn it off. Just avoid refined/added sugar (still can eat some) and hfcs. It's all about how active you are.

It's not a vaccine. Heck the CDC attempted to change the definition of a vaccine to contort it to fit the shot.

They "tried" to change the meaning? I thought they did change the meaning.

You on the rin protocol?

No, but it seems a good idea for me to start.
Also, since I only have the severe sore throat bit and no fever or congestion, I wonder if it is plain old tonsillitis.

Definitely eat fruit, sorry. In my zeal to preach the gospel of anti-sugar, I forgot the most important word "added".

I personally just don't care anymore about vaccine or not. I hope your FIL makes it. Loss of any sort within a family is no fun regardless of how you got along. Just dealt with my BIL.

I do think the vaccine can minimize the time symptomatic, but doesn't stop getting it or death. It stops absolutely nothing at this point from everything I've seen. I'm not special but know upwards of 50 to maybe even 100+ positive cases who were vaccinated. Tested positive, but had been vaccinated for months. IL is a shit show right now.

The narrative is falling apart and I think there is panic. It is real and dangerous to certain people, but there's nothing that can be done in my opinion aside from letting nature be nature. And stop fucking with viruses. We need to treat the sick and stop worrying about cases which I think was the point of your post. Vaccinated people are getting sick. Instead of dividing, focus on treating the sick and not about vaccinating the whole world. Every mitigation effort has failed the eye test. All of it.

Yes, I agree...treat the sick and point out the vulnerable so they can take the precautions that are appropriate for them.

As far as my point...I want to know the most important data point which I believe is death of the vaxed vs. the unvaxed broken down by age groups. We don't seem to have that data yet both sides seem to be so certain they KNOW the truth.

My FIL looks as though he will be one of the unlucky ones. He's 75. My parents are 84 and both survived Covid.

I just got back from DC working for a Realtor group. Each of them (3 people. 1 white and 2 black) are 55 and over. All are against masks and mandates. 1 black guy, about 60, said if anyone tries to jab him, he's gonna shoot them with his AR-15. My kind of people.

If the vaccine prevents death they should be shouting it from the mountain tops. They're just saying it reduces length of symptoms at this point. Which I tend to agree with based on my wife and I being 6 months apart age wise and getting sick last month. She did better. I'm legit still dealing with issues, though could be seasonal light and being stuck indoors.

I personally don't think the vaccine moves the needle on probability of death. No proof though either, but supposedly 60-70-80% or whatever have been vaccinated. If the vaccine worked we'd see a correlative drop in deaths from covid. On a 7 day moving average, you could maybe, maybe say the vaccine has reduced deaths by 20%. Image below.

But that was from a peak without vaccine. When you factor in better treatment, the vaccine seems not worth the cost of it. This is AIDS 2.0, just not gay. It has been botched. We're focusing on eliminating something that cannot be eliminated. Just found out minutes ago ANOTHER friend has covid (vaccinated). Close to hitting double digits a day at this point. It is mind boggling here in IL. And remember not everyone is getting tested. It's a tsunami and there's no point in wearing masks or getting vaccinated from my perspective.

You get one life. Live it. Fight back. This isn't logical at this point and I'm coming from a place that has ignored it after 15 days.... I can't imagine our coastal patnet friends/users.

Welp i have covid today was first day no fever and starting to feel better hope by Friday or weekend I'm back to 100%, same with kid. So so far it was like a three day cold with less of a runny nose.

That's great you both will have natural super immunity soon, and you can tell everyone to fuck off with their masks and jabs!

I just got off phone with friend that we partied with New Years Eve. They all had covid last Christmas and said it was horrible and are sick again also started same day as us but said it is much milder this time but still sucks. I'm not sure if mine is so mild from the quercetin and vitamins I've been taking for last two months. Some of the other people at party also sick.

A follow up on the over-testing for covid. If you are considering a test that involves a nasal swab, please watch this video first. A number of concerns are raised, but the one I found most alarming is the damage that can be caused if the test is not administered by a doctor.

Son and I lost our sense of smell yesterday. Still feels like medium cold, other son positive now along with wife. our youngest only one not to get it. Wife is double shot and doing the worse, her symptoms are more like cold and flu.

Both my wife and I have been taking the Rin cocktail. She hasn't gotten sick at all this winter, which is unusual for her, especially with a school-aged child. I caught something about 2 weeks ago - the cocktail plus the 'mectin largely eliminated any symptoms I had.
