this is recent. i like listening to leaders of both countries because it helps understand what their people hear and think. Putin sounds like a tough dude, wish america regained our mojo and stopped being so pussified.

Makes perfect sense.
His statements are not even a data point. You only need one video to know their value: "Feb. 18 Ukraine crisis: Putin says military drills were 'purely defensive' and 'not a threat'" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noj_wyukDfk&source=patrick.net

War is always wrong and de facto illegal unless in self defense - not that the US govt like many others cared in the past 50 years (when was the last time they properly declared war via congress?). You can always dispute and disprove claims and fight over the truth and facts, but this surely does not sound like the addled, covid ravaged brain of a madman.

You can always dispute and disprove facts if the facts are wrong. But that's not what the thread is about. The thread is about Putin explaining Putin's reasoning. Nobody should be listening to him for that. NOBODY. He's a notorious lier, and his own explanation of his actions is not even a data point.

You are right, America lost that mojo. Which is a big mistake: people want it, and so badly that they'd follow a sociopath who can demonstrate that he's got it.

That's false. I haven't encountered single person who "follows" putin. Also men have become more pussified in general over the past 50 years, just because male leaders were more masculine doesn't mean they were warmongers, in fact they were also much more skilled in and drawn towards diplomacy, which makes perfect sense if you can think logically for the best for your people instead of 24/7 reacting with your feelz on 3 second 160 character twatter feedz "supporting the current thing!". Not only T has dropped, also average IQ by quite a bit.

It is fundamental to justice to hear from both sides.

Without that, there is no justice.

The people who lied about Hunter's Laptop, Vaccine Safety, "Perfect Phone Calls", The Source of Inflation (Fed Printing Press), Trump was gonna kill all the gays, start a nuclear war, etc. are suddenly right about No Fly Zones.

And you know this how? You usually pick out one "fact" and then say "see! putler madman always lying!" You can do this with every politician of the world. Some lie more than others, but most lie all the time. But that doesn't mean you don't have to negotiate with them, by your logic we should have tried to nuke NK, Chyna, and a whole lotta other countries a long time ago. But we just recently lost a decades long war against goat herders. So maybe it's time to reflect upon what's best for the American people and the people of the Western works in general - not their politicians and globohomolists - and go with some serious diplomacy for once, hammer out a deal - remember the art of the deal? - and improve economic prosperity for the common man, instead of causing many more deaths, famine, inflation and shortages. Nobody wants to fight this war, that is the reality, neither Americans nor Ukrainians, and probably not many Russians either.

This must be joke.
Russians are pussified to extent that they have to accept a tyrant and no free speech.

Putin is just a common variety autocrat who must be hanged.

It is funny when Xi and Putin etc. says that their masses are too stupid to provide freedom.
Globalists are trying same in US.. Only a brainwashed American will support suicidal "cancelling our freedoms" irrespective of who you like.

I will take a "Voluntary Woke stupidity" to a tyrant.
I do see that "Woke" are becoming aggressive to force their views on others.. But Americans are resisting as they should.

I think "being stupid" is fundamental right and Xi/Putin use it as a tool to snatch freedoms.

i talk to a lot of builders and contractors, i have to tell you man that they admire Putins personality. its a missing piece in America that criminalized all masculinity and cancel cultured it into underground.

I remember when people admired Reagan and Obama same way. Noone admires Biden, and Trump has been cancelled off by our idiot media. we are eating the shit sandwich elites served in their quest for diversity and inclusivity.

brace yourself for 3 more tears of this, and senile biden potato. maybe we will get Trump again, i hope so. if not, we are fucked.

America is fucked, laws here, cancel culture, and corporate rules instantly smash any forms of masculinity. great time to be a faggot though or a tranny, top of the food chain, those are worshipped.

There's a difference between admiring or approving of a masculine style of leading and approving the actual politics, or being a follower. Plenty of examples in history

Before I give you more examples, why did you put "fact" in quotes? It is a FACT. The quotes look to me like a manipulation technique, and a dishonest one. But I'll give you a chance to explain otherwise.

I agree with that. Not just in America but in most if not all of the West. This disconnect between the establishment and "the salt of the earth" working class is indeed there.

Because many have been contested and some debunked. It's obvious he lies like all politicians, but not more than others. The events leading to the yearlong smoldering conflict in donbass incl. the color revolution are valid reasons to demand changes. Whether he is a madman and megalomaniac is mostly subjective and impossible to determine.

I give a link with Putin himself looking you in the eye and lying. About his plans for ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVENTS that happened in this century. And you use quotes, and explain it by some other mysterious facts that you think were debunked. I think you just confirmed that it was as a manipulation, and a dishonest one.

Of what I post here, what was debunked? I call BS on that as well.

There's free speech in Russia, they don't protect trouble makers. Sort of like America used to be. We had free speech, but if you wanted to be stupid trouble making wise ass, then you had to back it up with your ass and head. The legal system was not there to coddle scumbags, assholes, deviants, provacatures, miscreants, and the Constitutional predator lawyers, that made a mockery of our system, by defending those trying the hardest to destroy our society.
Only for it to come full circle and the leftist Commie gender confused zeros, to turn all of those protections they were afforded to bring America to this point on its head, and abuse those very same rights they exploited to silence, censor and punish their opposition now.

Can you do a better job at articulating your objection to Putin than just puking out Rachel Meadows word salad?

Sorry to disappoint.
You now can get rounded up for calling this "special operation" a war. Or for making a call for peace.

It got to the point of absurd: there's a video floating around with a person getting rounded up for holding a sign which litetraly says "Два Слова" ("Two words"). Because, I assume, it refers to "Нет Войне" ("No to War") without explicitly saying "No to War"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3fW_gwVuuY&source=patrick.net

Then, same video shows people getting rounded for responding to a question about support for the war. The irony is that everyone is rounded, those who express support and those who don't.

Did Putin freeze their bank accounts? Put them in prison for a year awaiting trail?

No idea. But I assume that you find this rounding up consistent with freedom of speech. Got it.

Yawn. Same tired bullshit making no sense outside of inflamed minds or RuSSki neo-Nazis.

The reason you are moving to an ad-hominem attack straight out, and not criticizing anything that was stated is a very good indication that you have nothing to criticize about what Putin said, but are eager for people to ignore it and think it's false.
